Finally stopped to experience the talk of the town. Saturday lunch was a busy time and loved hearing the orders called out to the kitchen staff. The servers were super nice and attentive. Overall atmosphere was of visiting your friend's home. We ordered smoked brisket plates with the smoked mac n' cheese, baked beans, cole slaw, hushpuppies, and bread. The smoked mac n' cheese is decadently delicious. It's creamy and the smokey cheese flavor brings it over the top. The hush puppies were full of seasoning with the perfect outside crunch. Beans and slaw were good sides to round out the meal with different flavors and textures. The brisket was so tender and full of that slow smoked essence. They have 3 BBQ sauces on the table; we preferred the sweet. The sweet tea is really good. The amount of food for the price was quite reasonable, as we sat for lunch but now we will have the leftovers for our dinner tonight. Seeing the food other patrons ordered looked really good, so I do believe we'll be back to try more of their menu.

The food was served very hot. We ordered the smoked turkey platter with two sides--collard greens and fried okra. Also the pulled chicken sandwich and the brisket sandwich. All were very flavorful. The turkey was juicy and a generous portion. The collards had some large fatty chunks a bit off-putting, but the flavor was true southern style. The fried okra was greasy, probably due to an over-used fryer. But the cleanliness and friendliness made the place a real find. We would come back if we lived here. The place was filled with locals--always a good sign. I didn't like that the bathrooms were right next to dining tables, but there was no way to fix that. They are large enough for handicap access--always a plus.

Food and service were impeccable, prices were unbeatable, taste was unbelievable. Sweet potato casserole is worth the drive for me. 10/10 recommend.

I am not mad about this BBQ. It feels like one of those places where everyone that works there, albeit server, chef or owner, actually has a passion for what they are involved with. The demographic was in line with the general census population for the area. Sweet potato side was more of a sweet pudding but not complaining. The meats made sense.

Great food, great service! Located in the heart of the coolest little city. We had the Brisket sandwich, burger, fries, hush puppies, Mac n cheese, and sweet potato casserole. Amazing! Great sweet tea too. The owners chatted with everyone - the atmosphere was friendly. It was a wonderful experience.

I attended Bridgett's kitchen one afternoon after attending a wine festival. We were starving, and needed food quickly and that's what we got! The green beans were so well seasoned with a kick to them. The meatloaf was nice and juicy with a nice smoky flavor. Bridgett was so kind and she came outside to talk to us and when one of our friends caught a cramp she went and got pickle juice etc to help him out. They were some of the kindest individuals and the staff was exceptional

Oh my word!! The brisket sandwich was amazing! So much tender, delicious brisket! I'm drooling just thinking about it. Service was good. Atmosphere is like a diner and pleasant. Will eat there again.

Delicious home cooking. Kind staff, even when they are busy! Fried okra, smoked pulled chicken with choice of BBQ sauce.

First time visit Sat 01/26/2025 about 12:45pm. Nice charm - packed house but found a 2 seater for my wife and me. Prompt service - menu has great variety - Delicious Food! Potato Salad is off the hook. We have our next trip planned.

Do not plan on going here today 10/26, my daughter and I drove 30 minutes here today to eat lunch after her cheerleading game. You can't even park, their Facebook page and website does not tell you that you can't park in their parking lot without paying $10 due to a festival that's going on in town. Theirs no point for them to even be open today if they're just booking out their parking lot to people attending a festival and not for their customers. Failed communication on their part.
