Brickhouse Tavern

We were there on a weeknight after 6pm. No waiting. Not crowded and it never got too busy the hour or so we were there. Service was outstanding. Our server was professional, and knew the menu well. She checked on us regularly and let us know she was available but was never intrusive. Food was overall very good. The fried flounder came with fries but you can also sub another side if you want. The bowl of chili (appetizer) was a big enough portion to act as an entree. It didn't taste like chili that I make at home but it was still very good with just the right amount of spice. I'd definitely order that again. And the chips and dip appetizer was a big enough portion to share - although I didn't! The chips looked and tasted like they were just fried. Came with some guacamole and pico de gallo (which could've been just a little bit spicier). The meatloaf and smashed potatoes entree was also delicious. All portions were generous and some of the meatloaf entree made it home for leftovers. My husband really loved that they have Guinness on tap. That alone is worth 5* to him as he's had a hard time finding good Guinness on tap and this place is just 10 mins down the road from us. We were told that this location used to be an old cotton mill. It's in a nice location just a few steps away from the busy Main Street in Davidson. Parking lot is large but it does fill up on the busy weekends. I love the modern tavern vibe on the inside. Menu prices are pretty typical for the area. We'll definitely return.

This space is really large so it's usually good for a crowd, and little wait time. I love bringing family here because a lot of them are picky and the menu is diverse bar food. My go to is the quesadilla made with their pizza dough. It's stretched thin so it isn't like a calzone, and I ask them to toss the chicken in buffalo sauce. It's delicious! They serve coke products which is my preferred soda, and the beer list is great. Our server this time around took care of our large 8 person party with ease. Never missed a refill and every order was correct. We will be back!

Shoutout Brickhouse for accommodating 25 people on a 15 minute notice and only splitting us three ways. We came here on a Saturday afternoon mid afternoon. Service was really efficient and quick. I took a risk of ordering the Salmon BLT, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The rice I got on the side was really not great, however.I heard great feedback from my teammates I came with and great service which is why I'm giving it a 4.

I randomly decided to stop by this place since i was on this side of town for a yelp event and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and was sat immediately. It took a little while for our server to come but it looked like they just finished with a fairly large party. So other staff took our drinks and made sure we were ok. Our actual waiter was very nice and knowledgable. We got the buffalo shrimp and it was very good! And i absolutly loved my wings. I also tried their beer it was a red ale and it was good i wasnt expecting to be that good since it was only 2$ lol. So i was pleasantly surprised. I dont travel to this area often but if i do end up in the area i will definately come back.

Always a busy restaurant and is a staple in Davidson! Chef Paul always does a fantastic job!

We dined tonight for the first time in years. Someone on Facebook mentioned they had the best macaroni and cheese, so I wanted to try that. We were greeted kindly by the hostesses and seated promptly. Our waitress was kind and efficient, and the service was fantastic throughout the night. I thought the prices were very reasonable, as well.We started with the fried pickles, which were fried perfectly crispy, but lightly. They weren't too greasy at all. They were served with this jalapeno ranch dressing that was good, but we preferred the plain ranch dressing. I had a salad with blackened salmon. The dressing was a tasty ginger vinaigrette, but the whole dish needed seasoning. I would get it again, however.The macaroni and cheese was the biggest disappointment of the night for me. The noodles were very overcooked and the sauce was gluey. I ate a few bites but that's all I could stand. I wouldn't get that again.My son had the Sirloin Dip and had no complaints.Based on the lackluster food we had, I was ready to give this restaurant a 3 to 3.5, but the service and the prices made me realize that a 4.0 was earned. We will return.

One of my most frequently go to restaurants in my area. Love the way they present their Lasagna. Always a favorite to bring family and friends when celebrating a birthday or another holiday or occasion

The Brickhouse Tavern is a favorite local restaurant of mine and I cherish all the great memories I have had there with family and friends for 20+ years! The salmon is the best ever! It feels good to be welcomed and get great service by the staff including Sharon, Tara and Alex to name a few! Love the music and atmosphere as well!

BRICKHOUSE TAVERN, LLC, Davidson, nc has issues. My credit card was scammed while I was in the restaurant. I showed the manager the extra change and he decided it. Showed him the extra charge on my charge card app.. He could care less... 2 hours later, i get another charge. My CC said it was manually entered into the system. Called BRICKHOUSE TAVERN and the manager said "it was not them." CC had to be canceled.

We usually love Brickhouse; tonight we came and the bar side of the restaurant smelled strongly of sewage/dirty mop water. Our kind waiter moved us to the closed dining room so we could enjoy our meal, but it was so strong it wafted over. I hope they can get this plumbing issue resolved soon!
