Boulevard Barbeque

We arrived later than we anticipated and didn't realize they close at 9, so we were there an hour before closing.Everyone was still so friendly and welcoming. Service was kind and fast. The food was delicious! The portions are great and the prices are good as well. This is a gorgeous location and we love dining in!

I didn't really enjoy Boulevard Barbecue. Barbecue was below average and my sides were awful. The restaurant had an empty feel to it. My server was nice and polite. 50/50 chance that I would give it another try.

Stopped in here for lunch while passing through town. Seated immediately and our waitress was very attentive, kept our water glasses filled. We both ordered the pork platter. Pork was phenomenal-- tender, flavorful but not fatty. Baked beans were a little on the sweet side but with a good flavor. I liked that it was a mix of standard baked beans and a few kidney beans. Crinkle cut fries were cooked perfectly and a generous portion. The standard sauce on the table was a sweet barbecue sauce. The waitress did not ask which sauce we wanted when she took our order although there were several listed on the menu. At our request she brought us two vinegar based sauces -- one spicy and one regular. Husband loved the spicy sauce as well as his jalapeno cheese grits. Overall a great quick lunch. Only negative is that the entire floor was sticky/slippery, especially in the bathroom. Our table was sticky as well.

Good little place to stop at! We went and were impressed with the look inside and out. The service was very friendly, and attentive! The sweet tea was good and sweet. The BBQ was fresh and delicious!For us, the only thing that bumped it to a 4 was the sauces. 50% of BBQ is the sauce, and it was disappointing for us. -House was VERY smokey. -Mustard base tasted like yellow mustard with a hint of smoke. -Lexington/vinegar was very weak, almost like straight apple cider vinegar. Like I said, the BBQ, Nachos, Fries, and Fried okra were all amazing! The sauces were disappointing.

Mountain BBQ is where it's at. We have had a tough time finding bbq in charlotte but thankfully this establishment exists and we found it on our way out of Banner Elk after a short weekend with the family. Not only was the staff super friendly but the food was out of bounds ridiculously good. Everything we orders from the kids meal (3 drum sticks and fries) to their wings and bbq was delicious. My wife had the brisket which was so tender and juicy it made me wonder why I didn't order it for myself! For our kid we ordered the 3 drum sticks but they are full size so make sure your kid is ready for this bbq adventure. Finally we finished with the banana pudding which was home made and worth it. All in all good this place is a great yelp helped us find. My only complaint was the floors being super greasy and not mopped correctly which with the wet weather made for interesting walks to your table.

We love the central location of the restaurant, right in town, plenty of parking. I have never had a bad meal there, and I eat a LOT of barbecue. I love the thick cut Texas beef brisket, it can't be beat! The cool upstairs dinning room overlooking highway 70 has a bright atmosphere, and the service is always wonderful.

1st off, have you ever been served wings still full of feathers? WTF! That's what you get here! Got a pulled pork and brisket sandwich that was pretty good. Was blowing mud 2 hours after our not hot experience. Two thumbs down

I had ate here before but forgot how good it is until i got a takeout order today. Wow!! Really Good and they give you your moneys worth!! You know so many places are cutting back, less food for more money. Well that's not the case here!!! I will definitely come back again! Pictures are proof that you get your moneys worth here and it's delicious!!

We were on our way home to Franklin and stopped to have a quick bite before getting on the road. The food and service was outstanding. Our servers name escapes me, she was pregnant...absolutely charming!The food is over the top, BBQ Perfection!!!

Disaster! Placed order for 7:20 PM. Go to pickup at 7:25. Nobody at counter, waited 15 mins for someone to assist. Was told order is not ready and could take 5-30 more mins. Lobby filled with multiple angry customers waiting for take out orders. 1 person was waiting for over an hour. I understand being short-staffed but then you shouldnt be taking orders. I left with no food after waiting 1 hour myself. Won't come again!
