Bossy Beulah's Chicken Shack - South End

What an amazing place this is. We have only been twice and are already claiming it as our new favorite Charlotte chicken spot! A few reasons:The portions reflect well to the prices, the staff is very friendly, all of the food comes out fresh and quick, and the sauces are delightful. Don't go to chick fil a or Bojangles, go here. It's worth every penny.

Food was great, loved the chicken sandwich. Very crunch and tasty. The fries melted in your mouth but were somehow still crunch so very delicious. Service was very quick! Got it in less than 5 minutes. Very chill vibe especially if heading out from one of the breweries. Would recommend stopping by.

I had the chicken breast sandwich with mayo and pickles. One of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Id be back here all the time if I lived in Charlotte. Quick service and plenty of seating and parking. The fries were on point too. Not sure how I can go to a fast food chain after eating here

Bossy Beulah's newest location!I've been to their original and this one was just as good and just as cute. Everyone was so friendly and the food came out in reasonable timing. It is exclusively chicken but they have a couple different options. Their slaw is delicious and so are their fries. One order of fries is enough for multiple people- beware!!! It is a bit pricy for fast food, but it is really good. They also have a bar area with beers and TV's. We stayed for a WHILE just talking and never felt pressured to leave. Parking can be questionable but they do have several spots right in front of the restaurant reserved just for them.

My brother has been talking about us needing to try this the next time I visited him. I'm so glad I came here with the family for lunch today. The chicken was warm and fresh. I loved the seasoning on the fries as well. There was a cute patio that we sat and ate at with nice oldies music playing. I highly recommend coming here. It's definitely family oriented and a cute and cozy place.

This restaurant is really easy to get to right off the New Bern Station blue line next to Suffolk Punch. The restaurants bartender opened the door for me as I walked up and the service the entire time was excellent in a clean friendly atmosphere. My gal pal and I had a great experience eating our meals in the air conditioning and having lots of iced drinks. I tried the Hot Thigh Sandwich and Cucumber Salad. The hot sauce was not your average red hot sauce with its own tang that compliments the batter for the fried chicken. I think it would be better if the chicken was crispier in the sandwich, there is something so satisfying texture wise when you bite into crispy fried things that if it was a bit crispier I think it would be more successful. The cucumber salad was visually appealing but the flavor could be punched up, very mayo forward.

I wanna give this place 4.5 stars. I tend to like more pickles in my potato salad but everything else was good. Chicken was good. Great crunch on the outside and tender on the inside with a little bit of spice not too overpowering and they give you sauce on the side if you want more spice. I'll tell you what though, I'd come back for the music and some of the oldies they were playing when I got here. Definitely coming back and told a friend. Oh and it's nice and clean!

I work nearby and absolutely LOVE their quinoa salad and fries. All of my coworkers go at least once a week, and as a vegetarian, I am very glad that they have a good option for me! Definitely recommend the quinoa salad! Their sauce is also a must-try if you like Zaxby/Chick-fil-A sauce with a kick to it and fresh taste!! The restaurant is great for pickup because they have curbside delivery, but it's even better on a sunny day because the building has so much natural lighting and great outdoor seating! My coworkers and I love everyone who works there and have hardly ever encountered someone without a smile on their faces! Thank you for your great food service!!!

Hands down the best chicken sandwich in town! I also love that the chicken is all-natural chicken raised right here in the Carolinas. No hormones, no antibiotics, no pesticides, and no preservatives. The vibe and the service is always great!

YouCan never go wrong picking Bossy Beulah's for lunch. The people are always friendly, the place is always clean and the food is always piping hot. Enjoy.
