Try this spot if you're adventurous and you won't be disappointed!!!A coworker introduced me to this native dish of Bosnia and I've enjoyed every bite of it. The bread is grilled to perfection. Buttery, light and soft and served hot. It comes with sausages, onions, a tomato paste (which they sell by the jar) and a yogurt based sauce. It's not at all spicy and more than enough for two ppl to eat. Sit outside when the weather is perfect on the porch area facing Central and ppl gaze or watch traffic roll by sipping a coffee or a beverage of choice. For warmer days there's seating inside as well. Service has always been great in the two years that I've been going. It remains consistent. Family owned and operated. Dino is very welcoming...has a funny bone too. There's also an attached market with Bosnian groceries and treats as well. The Turkish Delight sweets are my favorite.

Delicious cevapi, friendly service, and a nice retail attachment to pick up some snacks. This local eatery serves tasty chevapi (beef sausages) in sandwich form and it is delicious! A large sandwich is $10 and a small is $5. The also offer pastries, beer, and a burger. There are about 5 tables inside of you choose to dine in. The sausages melt in your mouth. They are mildly seasoned and come with a delicious red sauce to use for dipping. My husband and I enjoyed our sandwiches and will be back for more when in the are. There is a parking lot too!

Bosna Nova is a great dance, and whenever I'm in Charlotte I do the Bosna Nova all the way down to the Bosna Market for some authentic Cevapi and other Bosnian treats at the wonderful Euro Grill, which is the hot food portion of this Slavic stronghold in the Southern region. This is actually the grocery store section of the restaurant and sells a lot of cool Slavic stuff from grocery stores in Europe. Lots of imports, if not 100% imports, and you can find gems here that you literally can't find anywhere else in the Carolinas, I would say.But the real gem is at the restaurant which is here too, so let me tell you all about that using my review of the food. It's called "Euro Grill".Easily my favorite place to eat in the Charlotte area selling perfect Cevapi on delicious fluffy Pita with a huge a generous helping of the red sauce which tastes like baba ganoush or aubergines of some kind.Absolutely delicious on every level and I'm a massive fan. The girl here is really nice and the prices are ridiculously low. Honestly you can't get a better place than this and I highly recommend you all give it a try. Most people don't know about Bosnian food, well know that you're missing out cuz this is one of the best examples of it in the whole country, and it's perfect. So wait, this is Bulgarian food you said? Belgian?..No, this is in fact the cuisine of Bosnia. Did you know Bosnia had a cuisine? No? Well you're missing out. It does. And it's amazing. Apparently this is Edin Dzeko's favourite restaurant. Apparently, without BD (not to be confused with VD. Not at all) Bosnia would never have miraculously qualified for World Cup 2014 in Brasil.Cevapi is my dish. Cevapi is Cylinders of Ground (Kofte-esque) Kebab in fluffy pita with just onions. Simple. Especially if you like meat, or kebabs in general. It's one of the best things I've ever tasted, anywhere. Get it on the bread it comes on, as a sandwich, and ask for the red sauce too. F***ing heaven. The juice shoots out from the meat into your mouth (I know you're used to this in the bedroom but at the table it can be just as thrilling), and it's so flavourful and awesome.*** Edit: I can now say that I am utterly addicted to the Cevapi. I get a little cup of the red sauce on the side. One Cevapi sandwich fills me up completely, sometimes twice (that sounds dirty, but it's not, I mean I eat half of it later, you gutter minded internet generation, you). I've tried a few Bosnian spots in NYC, but this place is considerably, remarkably better; it's the best Balkan or Slavic food I've had anywhere, now that Balkan Dining in Buffalo is gone. ***And remember - Euronly as old as the Euro you're grilling. Now let's finish with some rap.I'm like Johnny Cash (I've been everyWHERE HOS)So I can tell you know (listen cause the FOX KNOWS)For all you hungry girls, and all you starving ASS BROSGo to Charlotte ASAP and check out these EUROSForget Jay Z (and all of his AFFAIR HOS)Forget Buddhism (it's just some SELF-AWARE HOS)Forget Customs (we've nothing to DECLARE HOS)Forget Strip Clubs (it's just a bunch of BARE HOS)They sell the best Cevapi found anyf**ing WHERE-OSOther Bosnian places? You won't even CARE-OSTruly perfect Balkan food are really very RARE, HOSYou'll find them here at the great Grill known as EUROS(Then come over to my place, cuz I wanna SHARE O'S)WHAT

I was on my way to Dim Sum Chinese and cussing at myself because frankly, it's pretty piss poor dim sum. That said, while on the way there I passed a restaurant that said had a sign saying "Bosna Market / House of Cevaps." I let this marinate in my brain as I got to the Dim Sum parking lot. I was VERY much NOT looking forward to Dim Sum's dim sum! My last experience there left lots to be desired. It was uninspired, greasy and served lukewarm... Just not a joyful experience! My mind was made up... I said to myself, "SELF!? Life is TOO short for crappy Har Gow when you can try something Completely new and Different. Let's go to this Bosnian place!"A few clicks later I found myself in the little market (filled with Eastern European / Mediterranean goodies: jams, frozen meats, canned foods, pates, sausages, chocolates, breads, etc) and then the small cafe as well. The menu, while not extensive, was just what I needed. Filled with unique meats, sauteed vegetables, some on bread, others not... and typically served with a side of fries. I ordered a Bosnian Coffee (not for the feint of heart. Think Turkish Coffee! THICK. I'll be up all night, no doubt!). The owner/cook Dino was super helpful and offered to help me with the menu. I told him I loved roasted peppers. He made me a two chicken skewed kabob on homemade bread with sauteed peppers and onions. It was served with a side of fries and chopped onions. Simple but subtle flavoring that will make me come back for more. I know I should have tried the Cevaps, the house speciality (skinless sausages) but there will be a next time. I bought a few things from the specialty store and I look will forward to a future visit. VERY nice folks work there and the prices are just as reasonable as the food is delightful. Plenty of off road parking in back, too!

They steal your money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to buy some groceries from Bosna market today and I was robbed of $29.68. They added 2 charges on my receipt that I never purchased: 1 purchase of $22.09, and another one of 7.59. I spent $127.44 today, and $29.68 were stolen by the cashier. They might as well have taken it out of my pocket. It would have been the same... Be careful when you are purchasing more items, because they add items to your bill that you never purchased. I used to go there a lot, but this is the last time I will buy anything from them. If this is how they're treating their customers, then I will never go there again.
