Bonnie and Clyde's Lounge

Went here with another couple during restaurant week. A nice menu, $50 plus tax and gratuity.The waitress was attentive, the atmosphere comfortable . The food was tasty. We ordered and picked from the menu choices the swordfish, hangar steak and short rib. Appetizers we ordered were the lamb meatballs, cauliflower and roasted brussel sprouts, desserts were a banana filled wonton and ice cream over a type of brownie.Potion size good but my short rib on the bone was quite fatty .It was a nice meal but for the two of us cost $129 . There regular menu was not offered that night. Not sure I'd go back there again for restaurant week. Didn't order wine or drinks as our bill would have been much higher.

I have mixed feelings about my experience. I recommend. I arrived around 6:20pm last night and the performer was setting up and the establishment was pretty empty. Staff greeted me at the door. I sat at the bar until my friend arrived. The bartender was warm and held small talk. I ordered the Apple Cider Mojito which was delicious! My friend arrived and we ordered another round of drinks and appetizers. We told the bartender we wanted to sit in the restaurant under the rose ceiling which she said was fine but she will be serving us because we opened a tab with her. My friend did have a reservation for 6:45pm we informed her and she just ignored that it was stated. So when our appetizers were ready she came and told us, we had to ask her to bring them to us in which made her frustrated and she brought then proceeded to tell us in not a warm way that a party of 18 would be seated in 45mins and we would have to move, we asked where would we move and she pointed to the left and walked away. In the manner she spoke to us wasn't kind and changed from the previous hour prior to us talking to her. We moved and continued to enjoy cocktails. I don't know if she was overwhelmed but the service could have been better. We ordered the lamb meatballs and duck empanadas they were delicious! The ambiance is beautiful and perfect for celebration, date or girls nights! Would I return, I do not know. If I do I hope the staff would be a little warmer. Hope you give them a try and your experience is better than mine.

Solid Tapas in upscale lounge environment.Favorite dishes were: Wagyu Sliders, Fried cauliflower in Sweet Thai Chili, and Ahi Tuna.

It's Friday night and we decided to go Bonnie and Clyde's. We reserved a table so we were immediately seated upon entry. We loved the vibe, the DJ was incredible. We just happened to catch the fight (Tyson/Paul) while we were there so it was a good time. We ordered several appetizers, drinks, and meals. I enjoyed the drinks, but the food was not the best. Calamari was decent, meatballs were ok, crab cakes were really salty and the sea bass just wasn't good at all. I will return for drinks but not for food.

Food was ok but I felt lacked flavor... needed a little salt. Ambiance was great and has a lot of potential.

The restaurant is beautiful and nicely decorated. Perfect for date night or ladies night out. The food & drinks were decent. Nothing special that sets them apart from other restaurants further down providence rd. Sadly, the service will be what causes this place to not succeed. Especially for the prices and the upscale crowd they are trying to attract. They need friendlier faces upfront, faster bartenders and management that is all on the same page when handling large reservations. I wish them the best of luck and hope they evaluate customer reviews because it seems many others agree.

Came for restaurant week. Food was hot and service was great. Very intimate and sexy vibes with good cocktails. Would recommend. Had the swordfish 5/5. 7 flavor chicken (Asian flavor) 4.5/5 , voodoo shrimp 5/5 and tuna pokestada 4.5/5. Also the Bees Knees (gin) 4/5.

Rating 4 stars only because I didn't eat fromThe regular menu. I came for restaurant week and some of the items did not appear to be on the regular menu. Overall, I enjoyed my food. The interior is NICE! Very swanky and posh. This place is labeled a lounge. So the food may not be their totalFocus. While I enjoyed my scallops, it seems like this place may be great for drinks and apps with friends. It is a bit on the pricier side but I do think it's a great addition to the area without having to drive uptown for the same experience. I had no issues with my service. Taylor was our server and did great!

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I say that because of the location. A fancy cocktail bar in a plaza outside the city does not feel right, but I am glad they are in the neighborhood! The old-fashioned was solid. I only tried the duck empanadas, which were very good. I definitely will be going back to try more of the food. The atmosphere was great! I was there on a Saturday night. They had a DJ playing solid music. Great crowd! I did not get a chance to enjoy the rooftop because it was raining. However, the setup is fantastic, with a bar and plenty of seating.

What a gem of a find! It has a great vibe, and atmosphere and delicious food. Great addition to the South Charlotte area. Will definitely be back.
