Bombin’ Ramen

This tiny little place packs a mighty punch! They have a wide variety of delicious treats on the menu and the ramen is bombin', indeed!I went there with a group of 6. I do NOT advise going in a group this large as they do not have seating to accommodate larger groups.That being said, our server was fantastic. Everyone left satisfied with their meal. I went with the teriyaki toridon and it was magnificent! The prices were fair and everything was great!

Finally Hickory has a ramen joint. We ordered shoyu ramen, miso ramen and pan fried pork gyoza. They are all mediocre at best but with no competition within 50 miles, they should do fine. Miso broth is acceptable but shoyu soup tastes like a chicken broth diluted with drops of soy sauce, what is that?? Chashu is hard and dried up. Noodles are a little thick and curly, a little on the overcooked side but acceptable. I think it's fair to set expectations accordingly.

Excellent Japanese comfort food. My wife and I came hungry and left happy. We had Sencha Japanese hot green tea, gyoza as an appetizer, my wife had the tonkatsudon, and I had the gyūdon. Fast service in a small restaurant. Great for couples. Japanese pop/anime music. We got 4 or 5 cups of tea from the pot. I'll be back again and again until I've run the entire menu. その食べ物はおいしかったです

The bao bun is some of the best I have had with exception of the filling. Has a slightly sweet taste to them. Quick to order and pick up didn't take long at all. Plan to visit to try something else.

If you like a good buffet then this place is awesome. Good value if you like a big meal

The noodles are great. Bamboo adds a nice crunch. The egg was good, but I do prefer it more runny. Meat was good as well! The broth tasted good, I did find the need to add more soy sauce but that's my personal preference with noodle soups. The spice level was SPICY! It had me sweating and blowing my nose after a few spoonfuls. The waitress was great too, consistent refills and the owner is a great guy and very welcoming. The place itself is a little tight, but it's very clean and tidy. Overall 9/10!!

Food is delicious and service was quick and friendly! Great addition to Hickory! Will definitely be back.

Tonkotsu broth is fantastic! Just moved here from SoCal and having a hard time finding good Asian food. This place meets SoCall Asian food standards!

Excellent! Great food. Broth is delicious. Highly recommend the Tonkotsu black and bao buns.
