Bolton’s Curbside Cookery

This place used to be a food truck and is now at a location in Mount Holly. The short version is that this is instantly the best place to eat in Mount Holly. I have three kids and my wife that ate dinner so five total and our total bill was $64 and change after I left a 20% tip. We did all drink water. This restaurant is going to do awesome in Mount Holly because of this one fact.I'll start with a negative the only thing that we ate that we didn't think was fantastic. It wasn't bad, but just meh, was the pasta salad. My wife said it was kind of like every other pasta salad. Aside from that, we ate the chicken tenders, which are a full chicken breast btw so 2 is enough for one person. We also ate the burgers, which were.... Just amazing. I always hear people talk about how good burgers are at places and I try them and think "they're not that great." But these really are great, like I don't think there's anything like them in 100 miles...as in, WOW, that burger is Good! The fries were seasoned and tasted fantastic. The onion rings were spot on. The tenders were also incredible. I can't wait to try a hotdog at some point. Just AWESOME food. They had some things on the menu like fries with pimento cheese on top of them and other kinds of things like that, that looked fun. The sides are al a cart. Most are pretty shareable. When you come in, you have to order at the front and then find a seat. They bring you your food out, but you don't have a waiter. I would recommend looking at the menu before you come to make the first part faster. If I could wish one thing different about this restaurant, it would just be that it was bigger. It's such a great restaurant that people are in it all the time. We found a seat pretty quickly on Saturday at lunch about 1245. But it's a lot of tables in one space. It also has a full bar that has seating as well. Would be a great place to have dinner and a drink with friends.So glad this place is in Mount Holly. I know they're gonna do well cause they really are just awesome here.

Food was good - we had the mushroom smash-burger, the Caesar salad and the tenders. The flavors were great!The bartender was attentive and checked in with us multiple times. Loved the fact that Bolton's has a bar! A hip place for Mr. Holly!

Get there before 5 on the weekends food was good! I will be going back for a visit!Chicken tenders and fried okra is good!

Bolton's new brick and mortar transfer from their food truck has stirred excitement in our little town and rightfully so. The food truck has provided one of the best smash burgers I've ever had! The mushroom switzer. Really amazing. I waited a few weeks after the grand opening to grab the same burger from their new place, which looks amazing on the inside. Rather small but nice space at the bar. I ordered take out. The burger was extremely greasy. I don't remember it being that greasy the first or second time I had it from their food truck. Nonetheless it was still full of flavor. I'll definitely be back again and again. Definitely give Bolton's a try.

Finally got the chance to eat at Bolton's and it did not disappoint! We tried a classic burger, Carolina burger with fries, chicken tenders and the soup of the day- chicken and dumpling. Classic smash burger, soft bun, crinkle cut fries, the biggest and moist tenders. Ordered 5 and brought most of them home. Pro tip: the order of 5 comes with choice of 2 sauces. We got buffalo and ranch. Great beer selection and customer service. It's always a packed house so be patient or get there early to get a table. We will be back!

I had the burger with the fried egg on top. It was absolutely delicious. My server/bartender was my key is a cutie pie and the friendliest bartender I have ever met such a sweetheart. The location is it is in a small section of downtown Mount Holly, but the people make you feel right at home, this is a family own restaurant. I do believe husband and wife. If you can calling your order that would be best because they are new to the area. They stay packed busy so if you can place your order by phone or online that would be best otherwise your weight should not be longer than 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the day if you love a good flat smashed burger that is juicy juicy juicy and just right this is the place for you. I cannot think of another burger place within 30 miles from this location. That is better. This is better than five guys if you have had five guys burgers this place beats them.

Delicious smash burgers and crinkle fries seasoned to perfection! So glad to see another Mt. Holly place to eat! I never had the food truck but the restaurant didn't disappoint. The patty on the smash burger was insanely thin and crispy on the edges. The burger held together and didn't fall apart, despite being juicy. Can't wait to go back and try more things!

We went early for my birthday dinner with my husband, mom, and two kids (4 and 2yo). We got a table, but it filled up quickly. The location is great, right in downtown Mt. Holly, and we like trying a variety. Good beer selection, and our food was great! My burger really hot the spot: Southern burger with chili and coleslaw! The kids had chicken tenders that were freshly breaded, but a tad salty for me. Great onion rings, fries, and my favorite, fried okra! Everyone had a great meal, and we'll be back.

Went here while visiting our daughter for Christmas. Wow what a great place. Beautifully decorated and the staff were all so incredibly nice. The smash burgers and potato salad, fries and soup were all delicious. Try this place if you're in the area.

So delicious! Always made fresh, all fresh ingredients. Homemade items, very good. Have tried burgers and chili fries, so good.
