Over priced seafood, not very flavorfulHad the octopus and it was tough and hardly any sauce on it my wife had steak and onion and the onions were under cooked the steak was the size of a burger patty. Real low quality service small portions. Only 2 stars because the the Pina colada was fine everything else was sub par.

Food was plentiful on the portion for lunch and the price was reasonable. Ribs, Yellow Rice and Salad were good. Wish I could have tried an entree but wasn't looking For a large portion.Service was good.Note, Lemonade excellent.

Tucked away in old Pinehurst Rd in a shopping center, is Boca Marina restaurante. They are a Dominican owned seafood restaurant that serves seafood and land/sea combinations. I had the mofongo de Camarones, which is a traditional Puerto Rican dish of fried green plantains, mashed in a traditional pilón (pestle) and adding chicharrón (fried pork cracklings.) Unless there's dietary or religious restrictions, don't skip it as it gives and enhances the traditional flavor. Place is new and finding its bearings so didn't want to rate them lower, but do recommend they replace the tortilla chips for garlic buttered toast.So if you're in the mood for some Caribbean seafood, this is a good place to check out.

Beautiful view and the food was good. Excellent service. Highly recommend for fun afternoon, sitting out on the patio and enjoying the weather. Very friendly service and fast and efficient.

This place has been open for a little over a month, and I have been here 3 times already. I have brought my mother and wife along, and we cannot get over how delicious the food is. The service is great. This is a true Dominican, sea food restaurant. 100% recommended.

Folks, my partner and I have been in a real slump as far as Charlotte restaurants go in recent months, so I am overjoyed at the dining experience we had at Boca Marina. The staff: attentive and friendlyThe restaurant: fresh and cleanThe food: THE FOOD!! Everything, and I do mean everything, was beautifully and perfectly prepared. We had the Sopa Boca Marina, chock full of tasty seafood, the Lambi a la Criolla, perfectly cooked and flavored, and the Churrasco, which was, again, perfectly prepared. The sides were great, too...particularly the yuca frita, which is better than any other I've had in town. And whatever the sauce is that was served with the churrasco, my guess is a type of chimichurri, will stay with me for a long time--simply exquisite. It seemed quiet there for a Friday night, so it would seem that not too many people know about this place yet. I don't usually leave reviews, but want to do what I can to get people to visit this restaurant. It's that good!!

Don't know what happened but my ceviche was missing tomato as far as know tomato is a key ingredient. Ceviche had no flavor, very disappointed!

Had a taste for fresh seafood and I sure did find it here. When I first come in I here the island music playing. What better way to put you in the mood for seafood than music of the island. I can't think of one. Upbeat place and the servers match the energy!! The seafood pasta... A1. The seafood was a great, the sauce was tomato based but did not overtake the freshness. The only thing I will say to the owner is add some good fresh baked bread for the pasta and soup dishes and you will really have me sucked in. Keep up the great work.

Service was very good! Food was average. Fish was not fresh. Shrimp and rice meal was tasty.
