Drink order: Tried to order 3 different beers and they were all sold out So I ordered a seltzer instead. Wife ordered a Red Hurricane style drink which was delicious.For the entree, I ordered the smoked wings, one of their signature dishes; wife had the fried fish and shrimp.The wings were lightly smoked. Tasted fresh off the grill; cooked perfectly with a delicious BBQ sauce that brought it all together. Wife's fish and shrimp were expertly fried - tender, crispy and not overcooked. The shrimp was plump and sweet - really good!

Chips came out stale and cold. It was not good. The brisket was pretty bad. Just look at it. Worse brisket I've ever had. Ribs were meaty and the wings were also cold. I know I asked for the entree after the appetizer but food should be at least warm. It was cold. 2 stars for having the football game on Sunday.

This was our first time for lunch at Boardwalk Billy's and we thoroughly enjoyed it! There was another Boardwalk Billy's much closer to us but we wanted the waterview experience and glad we drove the extra distance. The hostess and our server were friendly and very accommodating. Cute place reminded me of restaurants at Virginia beach.. the crab dish was good.. filling enough .. We had to wait to be seated and we decided to have a drink at the bar.. bartenders there not so friendly but of course friendly when they give you your Bill hoping to get a decent tip.. our waitress seemed like she was rushing ... checked on us once thus the 4 stars.. over all the place was nice and clean.. The food was good but the service not so good .. with all the other places to eat on the boardwalk I probably will not be back..

The menu was many pages long, but only the last three pages were food, the rest a wide variety of brands of beer and fancy drinks. It was a Friday evening at 7, and remarkably not busy. The front staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The service was unimaginably slow, taking over 10 more minutes to get a glass of water, when the waitress happened to pass by after we were abandoned for 20 minutes after food had arrived. The place has pleasant boardwalk décor. Their menu is interesting,: it's mostly a bbq place, with a couple burgers, salads, and fried flounder for fish. It could be so much more, particularly with several excellent eating options right in the same complex.

Fun place with good food! I liked this place alot. Good seafood, friendly svc, good drinks and nice water view in Charlotte.We had low country boil and grilled shrimp salad and both were delicious. Service was a little slow is the reason not 5 star.Fun bar type atmosphere.

I had a great time at Boardwalk Billys in Charlotte! The customer service was great and there were plenty of servers walking around. The parking lot is shared with other businesses so it might be hard to find parking on a busier evening like the weekend. The outside atmosphere is great with water and duckies swimming around. A great family or date night spot everyone can enjoy. Worth checking out.

Amazing raw bar. Great service and lighting at this beautiful dockside restaurant. Highly recommend this spot for dinner if you are staying at the Hilton nearby. I got the billy's ultimate steampot with additional oysters. was quite happy with the virgin pina colada i ordered as well. definitely coming back if I am in the area! service was very polite and friendly - food was out relatively fast. bathrooms were solid.

Drinks are delicious (mojitos and cherry lime bucket ) Smoked plates are delicious and home made. The plates are packed with flavor and amazing. My favorite bbq is the western vinegar barbecue flavor Although they have different type's bbq for your liking. The Mac and cheese is so good it's My favorite spot in charlotte !! the service is quick and the ambience is great.
