Blue Door Deli & Market

I stopped into this little deli for lunch while out shopping on Waxhaw, and I'm glad I did! The staff there was super nice, and make you feel at home. I got the Blue Door sandwich; since it had the name of the restaurant itself, I thought it must be good-and I was right! It has everything I'd want in a sandwich-good bread, chicken, mozzarella, arugula, and more. It was fresh and flavorful and came with a side of some great pasta salad.

Great spot for a quick breakfast or casual lunch. Sandwiches packed high with meat, fresh veggies and crispy bacon. Got a loaded Cobb salad that hit the spot. Small little patio out front to enjoy your meal with some sunshine in downtown Waxhaw. Staff was friendly and kind. Prices are spot on for a great meal. 100% would recommend and we will be back!

always love the food when we order sandwiches and breakfast was no different.Blue Door is a small quaint perfect for Waxhaw deli. It has a few tables and even when they are all occupied doesn't feel crowded.Todays choice was breakfast - a western omelette w/toast and home fries. The omelette actually had decent cheese like a cheddar on it not the typical Kraft singles. It had a great amount of veggies and the ham was solid.Toast has brushes butter and it's good large amount of butter fat butter hmmm my favorite.Home fries had a good crisp and didn't have that spray that others use on the grill. They were quite good w/the right amount of seasoning.Blue Door is a solid choice for breakfast and their mainstay sandwiches.

Just disappointed! Ordered three sandwiches with Kaiser roll and didn't receive what I ordered. Waited 35 minutes for the sandwiches. Did not have the decency to inform me they were out of the Kaiser rolls. Didn't ask if I wanted a different type of bread either. Didn't let me know when I was physically there waiting the whole time. Didn't find out until I got home and my family opened up the sandwiches for breakfast. When I called, the nice gentleman tried to get his manager and heard her tellhim in the background..I'm busy and can't take the call right now. They were "too busy"! May have potential but not coming back.

My significant other went in today and ordered the Special for today which was a Tuna Melt on marble rye. He really enjoyed it and so I asked him to bring me one home. It was good, but in hindsight I will get it without being grilled because it was soggy by the time I ate it. But the tuna was delicious!We came here after 5 nights at Lake Norman the week of 4th of July before heading home. I don't remember what we ordered but both sandwiches were very different from each other and both were delicious. I could not decide which one I enjoyed the most because we shared. The atmosphere was fun. It was a Saturday afternoon so there were still lots of people. Service rocked too! Love this place!!!

Bad service. Not even basic sense to check the order. And it wasn't even busy. No excuse for getting order not right. Attached picture with receipt that clearly says reuben panini. Look at the pic and see if you can find reuben.

Bagels are just ok. Service is also ok. It's just not giving NY bagel. Parking isn't bad. Located in downtown Waxhaw

Great for a quick lunch or breakfast. I ordered the Build your own Scrambled Egg Bowl for a late breakfast/early lunch. Very reasonable price and was delicious with a side of toast. Nice addition to downtown Waxhaw. Staff was friendly! Small inside, but hey! It's a deli!

We ordered the Italian and the Philly. Neither was good from the bread to the meat. Overpriced as well. Should have known when we walked in and there was nobody there at prime lunch time. Maybe it was just a bad day but I'm not sure if we'll try it again.

Service is extremely slow. Over 30min wait for 2 bagels with cream cheese. Probably won't be returning.
