Blakes Half Baked

Decided to try this place on a Saturday for lunch! The people working were very friendly! We ordered a Cuban and an Italian sandwich! The BEST sandwiches we've ever had! The bread is amazing! We will DEFINITELY be going back weekly to Blakes!!

My family and I stopped by Blake's for the first time on a Saturday around 1:30pm, tired and hot after a day at the zoo. We held off on buying overpriced zoo food and we were starving. The restaurant was fast and casual with super friendly staff. It was busy but we were able to order at the counter and find a table right away. They use the "good" crushed ice for their fountain drinks, which hit the spot! For food, we ordered the Fluffy and the Italian sandwiches. The sandwich bread is... pizza crust! Amazing! The half size was huge and they didn't skimp on mayo, which I love! We also ordered the bacon ranch pasta and the soup special which was tortellini for the day. Both were delicious, the pasta is everything you'd expect it to be and I could have eaten a huge serving of the soup by itself. It was so so good. Lastly, I walked over to the homemade desserts case and saw they had pineapple cake. Even though I was stuffed, we split a piece and it was heaven! Days later I'm still thinking about that meal and can't wait to go back!

Excellent food and tea. The soups are home made and I believe the desserts are too. Generous portions and the crust is soft but holds it shape. Crust has a good flavor as well. The chicken salad was delicious as well as the chicken gnocchi soup. I chose the vegetable beef soup which was really tasty and the beef is not hamburger (not that there is anything wrong with hamburger).To the lady who gave up her table cause I just I shoulder surgery. You didn't have to do that but please know your kindness was not unnoticed Good luck to Blake's and I hope they become a permanent business here in Asheboro!

WONDERFUL food!!!! I would highly recommend the Cuban! It is my favorite!!!! And they have online ordering which is great for our work lunches.

Decided to stop by today for lunch. Have been wanting to stop by for awhile now and glad we did. The food was great. They use a pizza crust as the bread and it absolutely works great. I suggest trying the Cuban! If you're looking for a quick bite to eat and want to support a local small business, give them a try!

Amazing food all around. I've bragged to so many about this place! The sandwich and the salad. The homemade dressing was something to also brag about!

Decided to give them a try this week. Instead of bread, they use something along the lines of a pizza crust cut in wedges. Mine was very good and my wife enjoyed hers. We split a cup of soup and it was very good as well. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was clean. I will definitely be back.
