I took lessons here for quite a while and I loved it. The staff are professional, the courts are really nice and the owner is outstanding. I would totally recommend this club to anyone looking for a wonderful facility with a good support group of other members.

This review doesn't come from a member, but from a visiting tennis player. I play USTA league tennis and this facility is a nice one. They've expanded and have a ton of courts to play on... and also have nice viewing areas for those that are supporting loved ones or just want to watch tennis matches.I counted 13 courts... 6 hard courts and 7 clay courts...all of them are well maintained and good to play on. The club house has a large bathroom/locker room for changing and showers. Not sure what the membership cost is, but it wouldn't make sense since it's all the way on the other side of town from me and it takes me over an hour in rush hour traffic to get there. Don't get me wrong, Blakeney is a nice area... I just don't like the traffic - where did all these people come from? I'd say if you live in the area, and are an avid tennis player... this is a decent club to join.

This club is great! I used to be a member here until I had to move across the country for school and work. The facilities and people here are great! I've haven't found a club that has European red clay courts anywhere else I've been so far. This club also has very active tennis leagues and great competition. Would rate 10/10 if possible! I'd highly recommend going here!

I play league tennis here. Always happy with how the club is growing. They are always updating something. Most recently the bathroom and remodeled one of the racquet ball courts into a cafe!!!

We have been members for about 2 years a love it. My husband and and I both love our tennis teams and the kids really enjoy the summer swim team. The pool is so much more relaxing than the Y. The new addition of a cafe just makes it even more convenient and a great place to socialize. I also appreciate that the owners are constantly looking for ways to improve.

This has been a great place for camp! The people here are friendly and the accommodations have been great! The pool has a water slide the kids love and the lifeguards are laid-back :)

I just got off the phone with the owner of the Blakeney Swim & Racquet Club.Last summer I tripped over a hose that was left out draining pool water during normal pool hours and subsequently had to have wrist surgery involving a plate and screws.I was out of work for 3 months and had 6 months of physical therapy. My out-of-pocket costs were approximately $13,000. (My medical bills and lost wages totaled approximately $75,000.)I have been left with permanent minor swelling and stiffness that I will have to deal with for the rest of my life.I appealed to the owner for some kind of compensation. However, he said there was nothing he could do.He did not even offer to refund my summer membership.Where is this person's sense of decency?I could never recommend this club based on this horrible experience.

They do not groom their courts well. They are always too wet and the balls die. And why on earth would anyone put red clay on Har Tru??? It's a messy disaster!

I have driven past this tennis facility many times. I really wanted to like it and consider joining. They seem to always have clinics going on as well as a pool and exercise facility. It seems like a pretty happening place to be. The courts are very nice and the ladies we played against were courteous and very good for our level. During our match however, 2 pros and another male player stood at the on court bench talking loudly while our match was going on. It was rude and not very courteous, especially for pros. They should know better. Though the facility was nice, I am sad to say that the staff was not very courteous. If I play there again, I hope I have a different experience. From the other reviews, it seems that I should give it another chance.

I've been a member since the beautiful clubhouse was just a trailer....more than 14 years. BRSC started as a place for me to learn tennis, and has become a family community for all levels of tennis, fitness, social events, youth programs and summer swim league for my kids. The number of courts, clay and hard court, indoor and out, is impressive. The staff is courteous and the instructors are fantastic. The club is large enough to offer something for everyone, but intimate enough to make you feel completely included. I have BRSC to thank for my most important friendships and would recommend it to anyone.
