It's hard to imagine needing to make a reservation for pizza 60 days out but take your first bite and you'll understand why. Walk in to the intimate dining room for about 50 and your eyes will be drawn to the pizzas and salads on other tables.Typically kale is a turnoff the Kale Caesar Salad is a treat. The kale holds up to the cheese and light dressing to create a delicious take on Caesar.The Regular pie came out first and that sauce was delicious. The balance of the cheese, sauce, and basil was very good. Next came the OG and that pie brought the heat! The vodka sauce, pesto, and pancetta brought a ton of flavor to a creative take on pizza.Service was friendly and quick. It didn't take long to go from hungry to "maybe I should not have had a third slice but my taste buds are happy!" Make a reservation and try one of their unique pizzas - your taste buds will thank you!

First off, make sure to make a reservation on their site. They ope.n reservations 30 days out and they fill up fast! Secondly, get the kale Caesar salad. Even if you don't like kale or salad just get it. I don't like kale but this was amazing. Pizza was delicious! They have a regular for picky eaters like my kiddo but it had enough flavor to keep hubby and I interested. We also got the OG pizza which had amazing flavor! Peppers only on hubby's side. Making my reservation for next month!

Wow! Bird Pizzeria is truly an experience. From the tiny, intimate restaurant space to the feeling that you're in a New York hidden gem and you're among the coolest people in the city lol. I don't know what it is about the atmosphere there. But it just felt good. Now, it is tight in there. So tight that if you get up to use the restroom and come back to your table you'll have to wait for a server to finish at their table so you can get by. It's small. That doesn't mean anything bad, it's just different. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Our food was superb! We ordered the brussel caesar salad...MY GOSH! It's the most beautiful and delicious mountain of salad I've ever had in my life lol. They really upped the bar with this salad. It's gorgeous and amazing! The pizza was great too. We ordered a pizza (the name is escaping me), but it was a popular option and it was really good. It had a little kick to it which I enjoyed. I will definitely be back soon to try more pies AND for that salad!!! SO GOOD!

What isn't there to love at Bird?! The space is giving Michelin Star vibes with a super cool contrast of a top notch pizza joint. The staff were incredibly friendly. And THE FOOD. Between the insane looking but wildly delicious Kale Caesar Salad and the best pizza I've ever eaten in my life, I will be lining up for a table here as often as possible!

Not to be dramatic, but this was the BEST SALAD OF MY LIFEokay, we'd been wanting to stop by this place. We live super close! It's been such a challenge. But we finally got a reservation and truly it was worth the wait. Drinks were drinks. Nothing memorable, but a positive to the experience. Keep in mind, there's a wine bar attached to this place (!!) that is a vibe of its own. Both were enjoyable. The salad made the experience. Hands down. Loved it. Best ever. I feel ridiculous for talking about a salad. It's a salad! But it was delicious. Unique. Fairly priced. I'd get it again and again. The pizza - we chose the OG and it was delicious. 10/10 I would order it again and recommend to a friend. What you should know about this place - the menu is small, and there are no substitutions. I think it's totally fair! I get it. You can build your own. I get it! But I don't eat pork. I never have in my life. And I've come to understand that that is not all that uncommon. So when we asked if there was a way to get half the pizza without meat or with something else, I was genuinely taken aback when the response from the waitress was "what are you afraid of?". I promise, I'm not scared! And I was prepared for a no. I was not ready to explain the rationale (very open about it, for religious reasons, etc) but to be questioned felt uncomfortable. I did, in fact, explain, and everything was okay. I got half without pork. I want to emphasize that I think this was a mistake! Or a genuine gut reaction. Not sure! I don't mind! And I absolutely will go back. And more than likely have a true 5/5 experience (this was like a 4.49 bc the day was the day when i encountered this moment). I also encourage you to try things you haven't tried before or think you might not like. But if you don't eat something, for religious reasons, for an allergy, etc. remember to speak up. It's okay! It happens! It's annoying for you and for the staff! Laugh about it! So yeah, I really really enjoyed this place. Just hope they catch themselves or check themselves. But it's all good. It's that good.

First time dining at Bird Pizzeria. The red sauce pizza is delicious! It has just the right amount of sauce with fresh mozzarella and basil. The crust is thin and crispy.The Kale Caesar is amazing and highly recommended. It's light and fresh and perfectly blended with dressing, crushed croutons and shaven parmesan cheese. The service was impeccable. Emonni was friendly and attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. It's a small, quaint restaurant with a neighborly vibe.

Great ambiance! It's so LA and vibey, love that this sconcept came to Charlotte. Service was great, everyone was kind and did a great job checking in! The menu is just a few apps, pizzas, and 2 desserts. I enjoyed the salad, we did the house and grandad pizza. Overall, I liked the flavors, I didn't love how crispy the crust was but that might. just be the style of their pizza. I think I'd enjoy it more if their menu expanded a little more.

I love the dine-in ambiance here. It's low-lit and minimalistic, perfect for couples or small groups. The pizza is thinner crust with crispy edges. We ordered the hot honey pepperoni with basil and the vodka sauce with pesto. They were both delicious. The owner came by to see how we were enjoying everything and was very friendly.

We got so lucky getting a good parking spot AND a table with no reservation on a Saturday night! I actually had no idea that this was more of a fancy place, but I am pleasantly surprised. The cocktails were great. We ordered the Caesar salad and the OG pizza. They have a 90 minute max table time, but I can't imagine that is actually true, because it does take a while for the food to come out.The food is delicious and apparently it is hard to get a table so I would probably recommend getting a reservation in case!

Maybe I was expecting too much, or maybe this place is overhyped. Got reservations which were not easy to get and was excited to try this place. Got there right on time but had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Ambiance is pretty cool although very cramped. At 8pm the Kale salad was sold out. Ordered the house salad and a white pizza. Both good, great crust on the pizza but not amazing. Actually lacked depth, almost bland. It's good pizza don't get me wrong, but it's not comparable to the top pizza places in the US I'm sorry.
