So I guess I'm a little mixed in this review - Tinseltown was really great (five stars def), but the upstairs part was a four star. Let me explain why please! Tinseltown, while a little annoying to get on the waitlist, I understood once I got there and the size of the bottom part of the bar is really tiny. And especially since it's freezing outside right now, you're gonna want to sit in the very limited inside space. That being said, it's soooooo cute inside and they didn't skimp on the decor. Also they have cut mugs for hot drinks to serve. Literally everything about this place is adorable. I also love their presence of the drinks. So I just don't like liquor, so don't take my opinion on any of those types of drinks, but it was super fun and yummy to get the Prosecco and sorbet drink (a play on the drink in the actual menu), and the nice shot was super great for me. I really liked both of these and am actually looking forward to coming here again for these and just hanging out with my sis who loves cocktails. Service was nice, like let me tell you it was busy so getting regular service was nice. Honestly almost unexpected because I feel like I can't undermine how busy this place gets during its Tinseltown debut. Please be respectful of everyone that's working, because honestly it's too full to accommodate the staff. But I was always able to get another drink as long as I ordered one mid-finish of my last drink knowing in advance I wanted another. I actually tried a bunch of different cocktails only because my sis loves cocktails, I really only liked the sugar cookie one I tried, but I need to make clear I don't like liquor so my opinion on the rest of the drinks really doesn't matter.I was very appreciative of our servers because they were great, understood exactly what I was ordering, and were overall just friendly. Billy Sunday was the place I was the most excited to visit at Optimist Hall. After seeing another content creator's video, I wanted to go because of the holiday décor and how good the holiday drinks looked. When I got there at four, there were two women who went in before me. I watched a staff member greet them warmly and engage. When I saw this interaction, I was happy because it showed me the staff was engaging and it made me feel as if this was going to be a great experience. That same staff member greeted me, asked how many was in my party as well as my seat preference. The staff member did her job yet I noticed her interaction with me was less welcoming than what was given to the two women before me who were also first-timers. I sat at the bar and ordered two drinks: the Sugar Cookie Martini and Reindeer Games. The Sugar Cookie Martini tasted good, but I thought it was rather small for the price. Reindeer Games, which was a lavender mocktail was perfection. The bartenders did engage with the other two women there, asking them their thoughts on their drinks, and even sharing feedback of what other customers thought. I didn't get that same engagement from them although there were only three of us (customers) there at the time. As a result, I left not feeling welcomed as the customer service I received was noticeably different compared to what I saw with the other two women there. When I closed out my tab, I was waiting for the female bartender to ask me how everything was like she did the other two women because that was going to open the door for me to verbalize my thoughts. She did not. Now I could've been proactive and told her, but I decided not to because after I closed out my tab, my experience was over. If there was something wrong with the drinks, I could give that back and let them correct that. My customer service experience cannot be corrected once I've had it. The staff can do better going forward, but the improved customer service experience is going to be given to the next person as I do not have plans to return. The only way I will go back is if someone I know chooses to have a birthday event or a social gathering there. I will go to support my friend. A large part of customer service is making sure everyone feels welcomed that walks in your door. In fact, while I was there sipping my drinks, I read the Yelp reviews and learned there were other people who had my same experience. It showed me I wasn't alone in the way I was feeling.

I liked the server, the location, and the drinks that our group had BUT pizza that we didn't order was delivered to our table. We told the server that the pizza wasn't ordered by us, and then he said they wouldn't charge us for the pizza but they couldn't take it back. We hadn't touched it until this point. Another guy came by and took the pizza and gave it to the table beside us (after 30 minutes). I already know that pizza was super cold and they didn't even offer to comp it. Yikes.

So fun! We stopped in for just a drink, and were immediately met with a warm greeting. We both just had one drink and they were delicious. The playlist is superb! We didn't want to leave just due to that. The pricing is typical for charlotte area.

I love this spot! They always have amazing popup bars whether it's for Christmas, Halloween, summer camp, and other fun time of year! There's drinks are yummy and the vibes are lit. Love sitting inside where it's always decorated or outside by a fire.

I really enjoyed Billy Sunday on a Monday evening. Surprisingly it was pretty busy for a Monday! With that, the service was a little inattentive in that they asked us once for our order and when we weren't ready they didn't come back to us for a while even tho we were sitting at the bar. Despite this, our drinks were given to us fairly quickly and I enjoyed my drink. They are holiday themed for Christmas and the names are engaging and cute. Flavors are festive as well! I have the sparkling wine, gin, and rosemary cocktial with sorbet and it was very refereshing. My friend had the apple cider cocktail and it was a little sweet for him. Overall I would definitely be back and really enjoyed the holiday theme. It felt really cozy!

We had a fantastic time doing a cocktail class here ! Our guide was Annie and she was full of knowledge and definitely patient with our group ! The bar itself is so cute and has some really great drinks and every liquor you could imagine and some I'd never seen before . It's considered an Amaro forward bar. You'll know what that is if you really like cocktails! They have a nice space inside and a great outdoor patio . Located on an outer part of optimist hall. Parking is available but you pay. Loved the casual vibe but still a really nice classy place .Our class was about 2 hours and we made 4 cocktails . $65 plus tax and gratuity . It was a lot of fun and they provide everything you need. The cute menu cards you get to keep and of course you can drink your drinks. I suggest Uber home or have a DD!! I love she was flexible if we didn't personally like an ingredient and let us change it up if need be. We hung out after the class on the patio and had a few snacks . The pretzel bites and French onion dip. With our drinks We had a great time here, wish they had another location in town or south end! Great place even if not doing a class and lots of food places in the actual hall inside.

We stopped in for a quick drink before heading upstairs to optimist hall for dinner. This bar is super cute and partakes in themes including a Valentine's Day pop up that is starting tomorrow. They have non alcoholic options which is a nice touch and their craft cocktails are super creative and tasty! I tried the spf 100 which is tequila, aperol, mango and lime with a fun mango candy on top! Super tasty, fun drinkware and priced accordingly. The service was friendly and enjoyable at the bar. We will return and recommend for a drink or bar snacks they offer. The patio is spacious and would be great for those warmer weather months. Plenty of parking on a week night and the bar is easily accessible. You do have to pay to park 24/7 according to the signs posted.

Came here for the Christmas pop up bar. There was no wait for us to get in on a Saturday night right before Christmas! The place was decorated really nice! Service was amazing. Our server was so nice and kept checking on us. I ordered the coquito and it was wayyyy too strong. I also tried my friend's eggnog and it was also very strong. My other friend's sugar cookie martini was really good though! For my second drink, I had the espresso martini. It was really good! I loved the presentation of all of the drinks as well!

Went for the Christmas theme and it was super cute. Drinks were good and staff were friendly.
