Living here we had never heard of this place before finding it on here.on yelp.It really is out in nowhere not too far from town. When walking in you order at the window and you sit with a number and someone brings out.We started with a appetizer fried onion, sorta like petals of onion. It was pretty good. They have specials for the day I got the baked speg.Wasn't bad. With 2 sides come with it, corn nuggets were good and broccoli. The other meal was a hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and corn. But the one thing they are known for is the butterfinger cake, so we got a pice and upside pineapple cake. They were both good but the butterfinger was amazingly good!! The owner said some people come just for that cake because it sells out so fast.I am not big on Butterfingers BUT!! This cake is to die for. So good!We talked to the owner sounds like a family ran business he was passed down it from his grandfather and his Dad.I am surprised we didn't hear about it sooner. A small town and out all by itself like in a huge field.Try this place out!We would definitely go back and recommend you to try, Especially that dessert!!

We recently found this place out in the middle of nowhere... it's actually a great location because there isn't much else around. They should do well here. Recently renovated with plenty of tables and some tvs... it was immaculately clean.I went here twice during the Holidays and had a burger both times so I cannot comment on other menu items. The burgers were fresh as were the toppings. Tater tots and fries were made fresh to order. Everything was delicious! The menu is HUGE. There are many different sandwich options, meats / veggies, and so much more. I will return!

A good local owned and operated place I enjoy having breakfast at when I am in town.Wonderful little local owned breakfast place that everyone local loves to come to. I got their just at opening and most days there's a line for breakfast. They have been in business for over 30 years. They will make the food however you want. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I got to talk to the Son that now run's Big Al's and was touched with how proud he was to cary on his Father dream. His Dad worked for Pepsi Cola and started the whole thing over 30 years ago with a little trailer selling Pepsi and chips at ball games and events then started serving more and more. Final build this place on the family land. The Son told me how he played under the tree next to the current building when it was very small while the family worked the fields of their own land.

I travel often around the USA and try to eat at local dinners when possible. Big Al's ranks at the bottom of the heap. First off I noticed an odor in the main dining area as I entered. Second, I ordered a simple breakfast (eggs, bacon, grits and one pancake) with coffee-20 mins later and still no food. When I asked about my order I was told I was 6th on the list which indicates to me a cook that can't do the job. When the food finally came out it was OK by diner standards the grits were tasteless but the pancake was good.. Overall I would not recommend Big Al's as there are other places that serve a simple breakfast better and faster.

Big Al's has always been a favorite of mine. My husband and I eat there at least twice a week. In fact, almost 25 years years ago he took me to Big Al's for the first time. The food lately has been even better than usual and the ladies who work there make it worth the wait. Everyone has a smile on their face and it's nice to know that they enjoy their jobs.

It's a pretty typical greasy spoon. Of note: this is most assuredly located squarely inside a residential area, so off the beaten path and not worth a trip out of your way. Isn't particularly clean, and the clientele is mostly the older folks of the community. Nothing of note on the menu, but good for a hotdog and some (frozen, not fresh) fries if you happen to be in the area.

Simple, fresh, and delicious. This is basic southern food done well. If you've ever had it done wrong, then you appreciate it when it's done right. Large portion sizes and excellent price to value. Friendly staff and made to order. I enjoy stopping by here regularly.

I found the best home cooking while working in the area. It's like my own Grandma's. It's my go-to place when I want to impress my friends and family. Just don't rush the cook and enjoy their friendliness. We drive 25 miles but it's well worth it. THANKS and May God bless Big All's!!
