Battleground Cafe

Definitely not a Cafe......just a Gas station eatery. Food was ok, nothing special.......what you might expect at a Gas station. Obviously reheated frozen food for the most part except for the fried chicken that I believe is fresh fried. If your hungry and need gas.....OK place to grab a quick bite .

This place has hands down the best catfish around!!! And the folks that work behind that counter are GREAT!!!

Ok so first of all this place is in a gas station. Me and my boyfriend expected the restaurant to maybe take over the back of the building but the "restaurant" was right at the entrance of the gas station with a little booth containing no more than 6 items of food (fried chicken, green beans, potatoes, mac and cheese). I was a little taken back, that the restaurant looked nothing like it did on yelp and the food was not even CLOSE to what was shown in the pics. Although the food was actually quite good and the women were so nice, just know that if you're expecting calzones and meatballs, you'll be quite disappointed.

New management food is ok but was better before. Greasy chicken. Also prices gone up.
