Barley's Taproom & Pizzeria

The calzones here are unmatched anywhere else in Rutherford County. Service was fine - grew up in Ruth and some family/friends that are still locals tried to tell me at one point there was always a long wait for food no matter how many people were in the restaurant; however that didn't seem to be an issue when I went. Decent amount of people in and out of the restaurant and no one else seemed to be waiting a long time either. Highly suggest stopping in for a calzone. Does not disappoint

VINTAGE GALORE, Perfectly Salty nachos and super good pizza, employees are very nice, this has so many classic vintage things in here like a old Rutherford county fair sign, nails the ambiance and this place is very nice, I love this place and always have since I was a little kid

Found barleys on yelp and it is an absolute gem!!!! The ambience inside is so amazing. They have two separate rooms, there is a live music room and then another room which is a little quieter and easier for conversation!! Both rooms have amazing vibes. The staff was extremely nice and the food was spectacular!!! Will definitely be returning.Only downside as we try to order food online the day before going in person and the app they use wasn't working. We also try to place an order by phone, but couldn't get anyone.

I highly recommend the rueben. I get these everywhere I go and this was one of the best! This place seemed like it has been here a while, not run down or anything but like a classic design with little booths in the windows and super high ceilings with 2 large bar areas and interesting stuff on the walls.

We went hiking at Linville falls and were heading back to Florida and searched Yelp for a place for lunch. Barley taproom was it. On the main drag in a small town in North Carolina loaded with charm. The pizza was spot on and they had a fantastic beer selection. If you are nearby don't hesitate to stop in and grab a pie and a drink. Service was spot on as well!

Perfect place to stop on the Thermal Belt Trail. Pizza is excellent and I'd come to Spindale just for that even if I weren't biking.

Always delicious and service is impeccable. Ambiance is sometimes too loud, but tolerable. It's a place to relax and chill.

The food is always delicious! Our favorites are the wings and the calzones but pizza and pastas are also good. It isn't cheap but it's always flavorful and the service is good.
