Ballantyne Country Club

Wow! They've done a tremendous job cleaning up this course in a year!! Fast greens and wide open fairways. (Don't be fooled, there are plenty of hills and hazards). The staff was amazing and I'll happily return!

Full disclosure - I am a member. With that said, I am very pleased with all aspects of the club. The renovations to the golf course several years ago have made the course look and play phenomenal. I have to add that we have excellent practice facilities as well. I'm not much of a tennis player but when I do I find it to be a very social group. The food service continues to get even better all the time. There is lots of variety on an always changing menu. And the service? Exceptional! The club leaders have done a great job of hiring great talent. We were just talking over the weekend about how the staff has virtually little turnover. To me that says a lot about how the club is run. I'm also part of a non profit that holds a golf tournament there every year. The staff works diligently to make our event a huge success. I have been to the Ballantyne Country Club for several work-related meetings. The clubhouse has wonderfully appointed meeting rooms that will help accomodate various group sizes. They do a nice job of providing refreshments and lunch service. It is a super place for your next meeting or training session when you want to plan a "retreat" away from the office.

Great club! My whole family enjoys using the various facilities and functions regularly.

We have been members and residents since the very beginning of BCC. All three of our children were raised here. We moved away in 2001 for a job transfer and came right back a year later and bought our house back....that's how much we love it here!

I thank my wonderful company for the second holiday party they've held at Ballantyne. Beautiful surroundings. The food last year was very good, and plentiful. I can't comment on the quality this year since it was pretty much gone with the first wave of diners. Very disappointing, and I'm sure there's probably an explanation. When I asked a server if there was more food on the way, the response was "the chef is whipping something up". Yikes. I waited for replenishing, but never got the chance to try it.

Had dinner with friends. We arrived near closing time but at no time was there a feeling of being rushed. We had the fried Brussels sprouts and cheese tray. I had the lobster tail which probably a little overcooked and dry . Pecan pie for desert was great. Nice subdued atmosphere good for conversation

Breakfast Buffet last Sunday was a disaster. Food was not out when it opened. Many thing(syrup, butter, cream cheese) were never put out until asked for. One person doing omelets so there was a huge backup. Even juice and glasses weren't out until asked. We took the whole family and it was a lot of money for a very bad meal.The desserts cakes were frozen in the middle....so much for FRESH!!!

We are not members of Ballantyne Country Club nor do we know any members. But when our children, who live out of town, said they wanted to have a 50th anniversary party for us they asked us to choose a venue and they would take it from there. We are so happy we found BCC. With Amanda McCleery at the helm everything was flawless; well organized but relaxed which is how we wanted it. There was a wine and beer beverage package for the bar and we were pleasantly surprised at the number and quality of choices. The buffet was set up in an adjoining room which worked perfectly. The food was good and the desserts superb. The guests could not get enough of the chocolate expresso dessert. I wish we could live Saturday night all over again. We highly recommend Ballantyne Country Club.

I am a vendor and I want to say this club is on the ball!!! I have a space always ready! They ask always ,if we need anything... I am Florist ... they asked ,today if they needed a coffee or tea or water. So nice never have this anywhere. It was very cold!!! I love working clubs in tune A great club with great wedding planners!!! Can't say enough. I actually look forward my weddings there!
