Bae's Burgers

Simple menu, 50 seats, burgers, fries, and beer. If you're in Downtown Mooresville you're in for a treat. The burgers were smashed with a great crust. I thoroughly enjoyed the BGG with garlic butter, cheddar, bacon, and garlic aioli. The combination gave a great meat and garlic flavor combo and had a little crunch. The garlic parm fries had good flavor and were a nice complement to the burger.Order at the counter and the staff will bring your meal to you in a few minutes. The space is small but there are about 50 seats inside and 3 small tables outside.If you're craving burger and fries without over the top ingredients this is a great option on Main Street.

I'm visiting from out of town and my family said that Bae's is a must have...and they weren't wrong!I've been to a few smash burger spots in South Florida, where I'm from, so I'm no stranger to them, but Bae's was definitely unique. There are around 9 tables, 2 high tops, a little bar area and outdoor seating. They have a limited menu, which I appreciated as I didnt feel overwhelmed with options. We were warmly greeted at the register by a nice young lady with blonde hair (sorry I didn't get a name!) She was super patient with us while we put in our order. We got a G.B.B. with a single patty, runny egg and garlic parm fries; a double G.B.B with garlic parm fries; a Bae burger, single patty with lettuce and bacon; and finally a grilled cheese. I'll start with the grilled cheese as that was the most disappointing (but I'm not the one who had to eat it!) It was incredibly small and they use the burger buns instead of bread. Pictures are a bit deceiving because it does seem a lot bigger than it actually is. It seems like something you would get with a kids meal; could eat it in 3 bites, easily. As for the burgers, they are the crispiest smash burgers I've ever had, which is great. But because they're so thin and crispy, it's best to get a double if you want a heartier burger. The buns are also pretty small, and I'm not sure if that is to make the burgers look bigger or what. The garlic aioli and bae sauce are fantastic additions. I'd highly recommend getting an egg on your burger as it really elevates it! But the highlight of the meal? The garlic parm fries. Hot, crispy, cheesy, and a light garlic flavor. I couldn't ask for more in a french fry! With two burger combos w/modifications, another burger and a grilled cheese, the total came to around $55. It's not super cheap, but you can taste the quality and overall it was a great and satisfying meal. (There's also a precious little bookstore right next door to visit after!)

This place we found on yelp and followed all the good reviews. I'm so glad we did. The place was adorable, staff was friendly, service was fast, and most importantly food was delicious!

Cool, hopping place on the Main Street in mooresville. Great burgers and fries. Very busy place but wish they had room to expand for more tables!

This is the best vegan burger I have had in Mooresville. They use Impossible Burgers, they cook them smash style. The patty had crispy edges, their fries were good too. I will be back.

Great local spot in Mooresville! Honestly Shake Shack has some serious competition. We all ordered the GBBB (Garlic Butter Bacon Burger) with garlic parmesan fires with Bae Sauce and Garlic Aioli. The burgers were great, they were very flavorful and the combo of the white American and garlic aioli was tasty. The fries were good. We had multiple servers/employees come over and ask how everything was and if we needed anything. The space itself if tight quarters, I could imagine it getting really uncomfortable fast. Luckily when we went it wasn't too busy. We will definitely be back though!

I'd been wanting to try this place after I saw it on instagram and it did not disappoint! I love the smash style burgers, these patties were super thin and crispy. They seemed pretty salty but were still delicious. We tried the GBB burger which has garlic aioli, bacon, and cheese on it. It was very satisfying. Next time I would probably add lettuce and tomato to it to cut through how rich and salty the patties and cheese were. The regular cheeseburger also looked good. We got the garlic parm fries with the burger and a kids chicken tenders for my daughter which was tasty too. You also have to try the sauces, we had the honey mustard and spicy ranch and both went to well with the burger and fries. The place is pretty simple, with a counter to order food at, an open grill area right behind it, and some booths and tables, along with a few tables out front on the sidewalk too. Definitely recommend taking a trip to Morrison to try Bae's Burgers!

So so good! We had been wanting to visit this establishment for awhile and have been back almost weekly since our first bite. Fresh fresh burgers, unique style, great taste. The original Bae burger is always hot and delicious. Husband gets the Garlic burger each time and loves it. We both fill up on the double size. Yum!

Five stars all around. The space is so cute. You go up to the counter to order and they give you a number. They were pretty busy at lunch time on a Friday but food came out quickly and we didn't have to wait long. I got the BGG and we shared the parm garlic fries. I'd get a double next time to have more meat but that's usually how I am with smash burgers all around. This meal was delicious and I wanna go back already.

Fantastic smash burger done very right. The patties are so smashed, I tend to get a double or triple most visits. The beef is flavorful with that awesome crust that makes a smash burger so darn good. Ordering is easy at the counter and goes quickly even when they're busy. If you are eating in you get a number and they deliver to you. There's a decent beer selection as well. Finally, how the heck did Mooresville get lucky enough to have two of the best burger places in the Charlotte area just a mile or so down the street from each other??? Trust me. You can't go wrong at Bae's or The Barcelona.
