Back Country Bbq

The barbecue was moist and flavorful. The slaw is the Lexington style red slaw. Very good. The wait staff was efficient and friendly. Just a good down home barbecue establishment. Well worth the 1 mile side trip off interstate 85.

This place was amazing. I got some take out today, and it was the best barbecue i've had in a long time. keep it up guys!

Waitresses don't get tips. Tip sharing doesn't apply when the waitresses are being paid leas than minimum wage. Period.

We have eaten in several barbecue restaurants in Lexington. This is our favorite. It's a small place but the coarse chopped and sliced barbecue are wonderful. Best of all, it is right off I-85.

Been eating here for years. Food is excellent. BBQ, steak and sides are all great. Wait staff is always friendly and ready to help!

Close to my house so mine is always take out. Decor is not great. I get the pound bbq special which has bbq slaw hushpuppies and buns. I really judge a place a lot on the hushpuppies and these are quite good.
