Azteca Family Mexican Restaurant

Consistently great food for the past 9 years I've eaten there. I usually get arroz con pollo, really can't go wrong. Last time I dined in, the guacamole was made freshly, table side by the server.

Stopped at this establishment for a quick bite to eat and was immediately sat down at a table. I ordered fajitas and a water. Waited was very nice and friendly. Food was hot when it came out and they give you more than enough for one person. They play music inside but not too loud that you can't hear others talking so the vibe was good. I would definitely recommend 10/10

The steak fajitas here are absolutely amazing. The salsas are made fresh in house. The seasoning on the steak was top notch. Amazing service as well. Will definitely be back again.

It's good to know Gastonia is holding an authentic Mexican restaurant. We've looking for a nice Mexican place and we found it here.They started us with chips and salsa and they were nice, but we were too hungry to order starters so we ordered the main course. We had Fajitas salad and they came on a fried tortilla shell filled with steak and sautéed veggies, a side of salad with guacamole and sour cream. YUMMY! We also had the Steak Fajitas that came with rice, refried beans and salad very well served. We also had the Carne Assada plate that was delicious!The nice and welcoming service, the delicious food and nice portions will force us to come back for more! The locals seemed to know how good they are as they were busy!

My third time ordering from Azteca Family Mexican Restaurant. I had a perfectly cooked and seasoned Azteca Steak. It comes with jumbo shrimp, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and yellow rice. My daughter had Chicken Enchiladas. My order was ready before the specified time.

Ordered the take out last Saturday to treat myself. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, a side of rice and a side of beansThe quesadilla was just a ball of shredded chicken inside a soggy tortilla with fresh cheese on top!! And a scoop of sour cream and guacamole on top too. None of the cheese was melted. The cheese was so disgusting, the little bit inside the tortilla was like they took it out of the bag and stuffed it in there. Far from what a quesadilla looks around here. The rice was dry and tasteless. The beans were alright but all in all I spent $26 in all that I wasted my money and ruined my dinner.

The best Mexican food in South Carolina!!!! Hands down!!! The fajitas plate the service awesome!!! Every one who visit this town and love Mexican food!!! This is the place to GO!!! Azteca!!!! Bravo!!

Great service! Food was good, but not the best I've tasted. Too much onion, for my liking, in the salsa .
