Brought my wife and kids here for lunch for the ayce sushi. Service was very good, we never had to wait to place another order. Sushi was very good. It may not be the best in the area, but it definitely satisfied our craving. Not many ayce places around that do this.

I stopped by on a Monday night after picking up my friend from the airport. We both were starving so let's try all you can eat sushi and hibachi. Greeted by a host and seated right away. It's seem a little slow for a Monday night. But our orders came out pretty fast. I can't complain there. Overall, all of the sushi and orders came out nice a pretty. It wasn't many that I dislike. I even ordered the steak udon stir fry. Smaller portion which I don't mind at all this time. Nothing fancy to this place. Great casual sitting and quiet on the day we came. Definitely the place to go for sushi on this side of town.

Last night a friend and I went to Asahi in Steele Creek for dinner. It is an all you can eat sushi buffet. It was better than I expected. Lunch $16, Dinner $25. Soft drinks $3. They give you a paper menu to select all the items you would like to order. I caution you though, everything comes out all at once that you ordered. So if you want soups and appetizers to come out first, order only that then ask for another paper menu. My friend and I each ordered but shared the items we got. They do have a separate menu you can order from, but you cannot order an all you can eat buffet and separate menu item if sitting at the same table. There is also a caution note to ensure that you only order what you can eat, otherwise they will charge you an additional 50 cents to $1 PER PIECE that you do not eat.Since this was our first time, we fumbled along. For appetizers: I got the shrimp tempura, shasumi, and goza. The shrimp tempura was pretty good. It needs a sauce but thankfully I had ordered hibachi that came out at the same time so I used the sauce that came with that. The goza was very good, fried and warm. The shasumi was very small and slightly fried. I think next time I may order miso soup and put it in there. The hibachi was very good. They give you the option to select by circling which proteins you want, veggies or not, rice or not. I got steak and shrimp. I'm used to hibachi coming with lo main, but lo mein was under a separate option. Next time I would get the hibachi and write lo mein next to it. (They should add that option IMO). I also got the seaweed salad (very good) and 2 pieces of shrimp nigiri (good). The first roll, I really liked. It was shrimp tempura with shredded crabmeat (likely fake) wrapped in lettuce. It took 2 bites to eat each piece, the roll was so wide. I put a line thru adding eel sauce and spicy mayo sauce on top. The next roll, I would not recommend : it had softshell crab & spicy salmon. The center of this roll was tough and chewy. We discovered the cause was the softshell crab. I have no idea what they did to make this inedible, but I had to pop out the softshell crab of each piece in order to eat it. Finally, the last thing I ordered created ALOT of confusion, apparently. I ordered the salmon roll and wrote the words "with avocado". The first time they tried to deliver it, they delivered a SPICY SALMON roll with no avocado. If you are not aware, this is salmon that has been pulverized into a mush, mixed with spicy mayo, then smashed into the roll. I very much dislike this type of roll, so I refused it and restated what I had ordered. The next time they brought out the SPICY SALMON roll with avocado this time. I again refused it and restated my order. 3rd time was a charm They finally brought out my salmon roll with whole pieces of salmon and avocado. However, I was out of ginger and wasabi so asked for more. It probably took the waitress 15 minutes to finally bring it because I had to remind her again the next time she stopped by since she forgot.Overall, this place is definitely worth the money you pay. If someone doesn't like sushi, there's still enough options such as soup, salad, hibachi, noodles, chicken skewers, etc. to make them happy.

The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the hibachi is cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a place with great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Asahi Sushi is definitely worth a visit.

Mr.Tokyo whoooo??? This place is a 10/10 if you're into housing copious amounts of sushi, apps, and hibachi. The place is super clean and modern. Staff is kind & quick. Make sure to try to try the salmon lovers roll... so good I had to snag a bite before a pic. Oops!

Positives: Food was good, nice decor. Negatives:Bad service....Waited at least 10 mins for someone to take our drink order. Our server did not explain the 2 different food menus. He had no clue what was what. 2 of our people DID NOT EAT because they weren't allowed to order from the "regular menu" since the rest of us ordered from the "all u can eat menu". But he charged them $24 ea. when we got the bill & had some rude response when we told him abt it. Also, we called ahead & the hostess confirmed that the lunchtime price was $17 ea, but it was $24!!On the way out, we told the manager how confusing the menu is & how the server was clueless & he got a little snippy with us. We will not be returning to this place.

This is a great establishment, especially the AYCE sushi/sashimi. Food is plentiful, tasty and most importantly, fresh. Atmosphere is nice as is the staff. Definitely a restaurant I will be back many times now that I know this gem is near my house.

I visited for lunch for the very first time on Tuesday and was disappointed. The food was very bland and lacked seasoning. I went for lunch and ordered the all you can eat sushi and hibachi. I wasn't able to eat but one portion because I didn't want to pay extra for food I couldn't eat. The price was a good deal. I don't know if I will return for a second meal due to the lack of flavor (hibachi steak).
