We stumbled upon the River Arts District by accident and the experience has been phenomenal. Here, at Art Garden, the gallery manager was kind enough to give us a brochure and guide us with what there is to see to get the full experience of the area. Things you should know:I. PARKINGThere's a massive private parking lot outside the warehouse-style building. Available spaces are endless ~ You won't have a problem finding a space.II. SERVICE Accommodating and informative. They'll go out of their way to help you here. III. QUALITY Vast amount of selection of artwork on various mediums. I like this specific location because everything is up for purchase. So, it's not like you can just observe and move on ~ you can actually buy it if you want it.

The Moth Queen space is so peaceful and welcoming. Tea leaf reading and Tarot card readings are very spot on. I recommend this shop in a positive way. Thank you

This place had a great selection of plants big and small, along with some great artwork by local artist. There were four separate rooms with different styles of art available ranging from $20 to about $2000 and plants from $8 to about $60

Wow, this is a really awesome new art gallery. This is a must-see if you are in the area. Go grab a cup of coffee from Summit and walk over to look at some art!The instant you walk through the door, it is obvious that this place was built on love and intention. The space is filled with art from floor to ceiling but doesn't feel cluttered. It kinda feels like a big, warm art hug when you walk through the doors. A lot of the art has a kind of "hippie/spiritual" vibe to it. The art filling the studio is colorful and expressive. They showcase multiple artists' work and have a few studios that you can walk through as well as the main gallery hall. When the weather starts warming up, they will be planing a garden and sculpture area outside as well. This outside area will be quite large, the same size as their indoor space. This is an amazing gallery and I already can't wait to go back!

This is my new favorite gallery in Asheville. First, it feels like a hidden gem, as the doorway is so easy to miss. But, as you as you walk in, you can feel the vibe of the art just glowing! Everything feels so happy and well made. Also, they now have a huge space upstairs for art installations and bigger pieces. So, I am excited to see how this gallery grows with time.

We spent an entire day in the River Arts District and this was one of the places we popped into. It's described as an art gallery and plant shop but it's heavily focused on the former. I recall some plants but it's the colorful artwork that definitely stands out more. They had an interesting mix of paintings, pottery and mixed media. One of the artists was actually working in her little niche so we quietly observed as we made our way around. We didn't purchase anything during our visit but enjoyed viewing all of the artwork nonetheless.

The woman working the desk is rude and condescending, we did not even make it past her before leaving.
