Art and Light Gallery

I love this place. All sorts of media: oils, water colors, textiles, pastels, charcoal, jewelry, ceramics. Set in a quaint little frame house that's a work in progress, Art & Light is the home of several local artists' studios. Owner Theresa Roche has regularly changing displays which assure a fresh approach each time you visit. Many massive works to teeny bird oils on canvas no larger than 2" X 2" are available and offer something delightful for every patron. The gallery is in The Village of West Greenville, a recognized, highly regarded burgeoning artist's community in Greenville, SC.

Nice folks, great knowledge, beautiful art. They change things up regularly so it always feels like you're visiting for the first time each time you go. Prices are reasonable and range from very affordable to moderately expensive. They never make you feel unwanted or uninvited and are happy to share their knowledge with you without your feeling dumb.Perhaps one of their greatest strengths is their excellent web site and use of social media. You can stay on top of what is going on and plan your visits accordingly. There is a reason they have been around for more than a decade. Give them a visit - it's fun!
