AROMA Indian Grill & Bar

I've dined here twice before and thought the food and service could have been better. Decided to give it a try again for dinner last night and I'd have to say, third time did not disappoint. We were very happy with our food, the spice level and portions. The only thing that was bad was the soda. Filter needed to be changed as it was flat. Told waiter but she still did a refill that was flat Appetizer-Samosa chatDinner-Biryani and butter chickenGarlic NaanGive them a try if you like Indian food full of flavor and great spice!

We've been trying all the Indian restaurants in the area and Aroma is our go-to spot! Dishes you must try - Saag paneer, chicken mehti, chicken korma, rogan josh. The bread basket is a lot of fun because you get a variety of naan breads. The atmosphere is nice but approachable and comfortable. Not too fancy like other Indian places in Charlotte. They have a huge menu including North and South Indian cuisine but our favorite are the North Indian curries. The staff are super friendly and this time we wanted to try something new, so our waiter recommended the Chettinadu which delivered such a unique spicy flavor! The portions are a great size and we always have leftovers. The interior is actually huge, they have so many tables available and we've never had to wait. They do offer reservations but you don't necessarily need one, although we usually go on a Thursday night. We love Aroma!

I gave this restaurant another chance recently when we ordered for a delivery. We ordered chicken drumsticks (tangadi kebab), and it was delicious! We absolutely loved the level of spice and marination. We then ordered a biryani delivery, and that was delicious too.That's when I decided to consider Aroma for a catering order - and we ended up ordering Chicken 555, paneer curry, methi chicken and house special fried rice -- everything was absolutely tasty and perfect just like we discussed with the staff. Our guests loved everything we ordered from Aroma! They have a loyal customer in us now.

My aunt brought me to Aroma and it was such a treat. As soon as you open the door, you see smiles and the aroma of toasted spices wafts through the air. The food was excellent. You know it's the real deal when so many South Asian families are there celebrating birthdays on a weekend afternoon!The panipuri chat was a fun and flavorful appetizer. I loved the layers of spice in the Malai kofta and the paneer masala was also solid. The server was attentive and answered questions but a bit distracted by the business. Highly recommend!

Really very good tasty fresh food. Online ordering made easy. Mild still has a kick fyi.

Ok hear me out!!!!! THE BEST INDIAN food I've had!!!for perspective I've had Indian in a Indian home, India, and Africa.... This was equal to that in the home!! I ordered the Kadai Masala (chicken) and Punjabi Samosa.. 15/10!!!!! It smelled amazing walking in. There's a smell I didn't recognize, which was Indian breath freshener that also aided with digestion. The service was great, the waiter took time to walk me through the menu and give me his personal favorite dishes. He got a feel of what I was used to and convinced me to try something similar but yet very different... I was NOT disappointed. However, the food was the star of the show!!! Authentic, bold flavors, huge in modern Indian tradition!!! We will be back NEXT week!!

Thanks to them being open late we eat here often for date night! I love the Samoas and curry dishes. I always finish out my meal with a Mango Lassi... yummm! They have a full bar and very courteous staff. The name says it all, the aroma lets you know how flavorful the food is.

Our server, uvi was amazing we ordered chicken korma and the kids had chicken butter masala and paratha aloo.The entire restaurant is absolutely amazing. It's well decorated, and I absolutely adore the seating and lighting. THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC! The food is so good and with the perfect service this place is a dream! Truly wonderful!

This is my second time going here in this place does not disappoint!!If I could give my server, (Kundan), 10 stars I would. He was awesome. He was very friendly and gave great recommendations! Kundan's customer service was outstanding. Probably the friendliest server I've had at any restaurant.I got the street chicken lollipops, Chicken tikka masala, and chicken butter masala. 10/10 and the spice was perfect. The french fries were even good too, lol. I love the vibe of the whole restaurant. I will definitely go back.

There are only a few places open late and Aroma is one of them. We went to relax have some drinks and catch up with old friends. When the bill came we had an extra charge and when we explained this can't be right he didn't say anything shrugged his shoulders and just handed us there machine to pay for it. Short answer check you bill, they will sneak in charges. Hope writing this helps others to be more cautious at this place.
