AR Workshop Charlotte

Went to ARW tonight for the first time and me and my friend had a good time! We registered in advance for the metal jewelry stamping and it was a smooth and easy process. We paid $25 for two bracelets and were able to fully DIY on our own with help from the instructor. You can pick from two different size bands (thin or thick), colors (gold or silver) and there are letters, numbers and other symbols you can use to customize your bracelets. The studio is spacious and they offer many other DIY workshops (candle making, woodworking, etc.). Great idea for a night out with friends or to celebrate a birthday, graduation or another special event.

Great DIY experience!Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and walk you through each step of your project. Your experience starts with signing up online and selecting what project and personalization you want. There are so many options, it can be overwhelming from art frames, lazy Susan's, hand knit blankets, stamped jewelry, planter boxes and more. You arrive with your work station prepared with an apron, your project and templates you need. The staff go over the first few steps in the process in picking your paint colors and stains. Then the staff bring you the paints you need and guide you through the process. The space is BYOB, they have a ton of examples of projects throughout the space and great music to inspire you. Pro tip- Park behind the buildingAR workshop also has a store with jewelry and decor and bath bombs for purchase. Check their calendar online as they do offer private events and community fundraisers too.

Super cute arts & crafts workshop! I had the pleasure of experiencing this creative crafts shop! We were instructed on how to create a painting of the Charlotte skyline! . The staff was available and helpful! The food was setup so nicely and it was delicious. I didn't know anyone in the class but still made some nice connections. I'd definitely go back and recommend this to anyone! I believe they change up the type of classes often so there's always something new and fun to create!

Wow! I was blown away by my entire experience at AR Workshop. I chose my design in advance and booked a class with a girlfriend. The spot is BYOB and you can bring snacks as well. Our class was 4 students and 1 instructor - the perfect ratio! Our instructor, Eliza, was so knowledgeable and helpful. She encouraged us to look around the workshop to get ideas. We then chose our techniques, stain, and paint colors ... and we got to work. The entire experience was so fun and the class was incredibly organized. We painted, stained, stenciled, nailed, drilled, and more. We left with beautiful wooden signs and a feeling of accomplishment. What a fun evening! I can't wait to return!And be sure to book a class with Eliza if you have a chance. She was AWESOME!!
