This place is an AMAZING BBQ joint!! The food is just fabulous. My favorite things are the Prime Rib sandwich and the Jalapeño grits. You just go on in and find a spot in one of their big long picnic style seats ( there is always plenty of room for everyone to sit together), and enjoy being served by their happy, nice staff! On the bottom floor of Melanie's Hometown Pharmacy you find the brick and mortar location of Anywhere'z Fine. They are known for their multiple types of barbecue, but it doesn't stop there. Tables here are tall; not counter height, but about 2" higher than the average dining height. Food is served in trays, so while it sometimes makes your portions look small, they really aren't. I left quite full and very satisfied. You have TVs over a bar area and over some of the bench seats, and they don't just have sports; they offer a screen for the little ones as well. Pricing is fair for the food, and the staff has always been friendly every time I have been there. My only complaint is that it's loud. There's not much in the place to absorb sound. But it doesn't take much away from the overall experience.

This place was so awesome we look forward to going back. A great option in an area where there are very few tasty places. The entire staff was so welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. I love that they have pibb xtra as a drink option not many places do now days. The smoked bologna sandwich is simple and delicious just the right thickness. The bacon burger with pimento cheese was really tasty and the pimento cheese was on point. Sides were all ok except the jalapeño grits I couldn't eat I'll stick with JD's for that. The dining room is bright and really just puts you in a good mood. The owners here really deserve a huge high five for opening this place.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. Wednesday evening. The place is very clean and fairly welcoming. Even with less than 10 customers total in the place it was too loud to carry on a conversation with the music added in. The table we sat at was a very large square for 4 people. The chairs are too short for the table (or table too tall for the chairs) so my plate was at my chest. Weird. The table was so wide and deep that I couldn't talk to the person across the table without yelling. The food is the real reason for the 3 stars. I had the pulled pork plate with onion rings and smoked Mac and cheese. Everything needed salt, lots of it. I'm pretty picky about pulled pork (we smoke our own and make our own sauce) and this just didn't do it for me. Lacked seasoning. Their single selection BBQ sauce was very mild and dull. Not bad but not good. Very thin. The onion rings were deep brown and tasted like the oil needed to be changed. Very little onion inside. I'm guessing frozen food service product. The Mac and cheese was OK. Also probably a food service product that might have been put on the smoker but it was nothing special. All in all an OK dinner for $12 but I won't choose to go back. Tip: I did notice that their draft beer prices are very reasonable with a decent-ish selection. But who the heck drinks Busch Light? It's only $2.60.

Ate here a few months ago. The pulled pork was delicious, fries, onion rings and chicken tenders not so much. The service was excellent and for me so was the ambiance.

Best ribs I have had in the Hickory / Lenoir area. Tender, moist with the proper pink of a great smoking process. Fried pickles, onion rings and slaw were great too. Interior was comfortable, immaculate with excellent seating. Service team was friendly and attentive. We will be back. Looking forward to trying the brisket next time.
