The greenway parking price is outrageously high! They even make you pay per person rather than per car! Mind you, that's to go for a hiking! It's a rip off

If you haven't visited, you must!, great place, great staff, cantina is very good, place is maintained impeccably ( except trail marking needs work!, if you scan QR, it brings up a tiny map of the entire property, and is useless.)

My first time to an event at the Comporium Amphitheater.Joined by my sister and her B/F who drove over from Gastonia. On the bill was headliner: Steep Canyon Rangers with David Childers & Jim Avett as opening acts.I recommend getting there very early unless you want to wait at the gate to have your ticket scanned. There was already a back-up when I got there at 415p and the headliner didn't start until 7p with the open starting at 5p.If you have coolers, blankets, bag or lawn chairs it will take you about 5 - 7 minutes to walk to the amphitheater. It's a muddy and gravel path and if it's rained recently, it will be messy. The stages is somewhat small but the sound and light is excellent. They have musical events throughout the season but the SCY were a very big event as they are a Grammy winning Blue Grass band. Unfortunately Steve Martin was not with them for this show but they still put on a great performance. They allow you to bring in a cooler with non-alcohol beverages. They say there are food trucks but not really. A shaved ice vendor and a falafel vendor. There was a lady tending a table that had baked goods as well. You can bring food with no problem and they do check every bag to ensure there is no alcohol. This also slows down the entry. You need to being a blanket, tart, bag chair or lawn chair. Events are rain or shine with no refunds.Next season, I'll look forward to going back for more perforances. It was so relaxing, laid back and casual. There is a facility with Men's & Women's bathrooms but they are very small.

My understanding is the place has tons of great trails including a lake and children's farm option. The membership fees are totally reasonable if you plan to go regularly and live close. The cost of entrance for an adult without a membership is not worth it at $14. Too many other great free parks in the area.

Cool spot for events. My company had an event here, and the space is big. There's something for everybody. The food was served in the building, which had weak AC. Bathrooms were cleaned for most part. It was hot outside but there were tables outside with some ceiling fans. You can sit near the creek, just watch out for mosquitos. There's also an event area under the big covering. Big ơn area for games like cornhole. You can walk the trail or do a little trail walking. I didn't explore due to the heat.

One of my favorite place in Fort Mill to visit is the Anne Springs Close Greenway! We relocated to Fort Mill in 2015, and soon after we arrived, we visited Anne Springs Close and enjoyed all that it offered. Since then, my entire family have been members. Anne Springs sits on 2000 acres of land with over 30 miles of walking, biking and hiking trailsNormally when we go, we visit the trestle bridge, the swinging bridge and the Nation Ford Loop but there is so much more to do and explore. Anne Springs offers guided tours, horseback riding, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. There are also many great places to take pictures, picnic at the Bruce Rush Pavilion and have events at Founders Dairy Barn, Comporium Amphitheater or Bob Reid Field Trial Barn. When you feel like cooling off or taking a break, you can visit the Gateway Canteen which is a small restaurant, information center and lounge area. The food here is pricey so you can always bring your own food to enjoy. The staff here is wonderful and very helpful with questions and assistance if needed. The grounds are kept clean at all times and if there are area that need repair then they are cordoned off for safety. I really could go on and on about ASCG but you need to visit and experience it for yourself. Take the whole family or go by yourself, it's definitely one of the best green spaces in the Carolinas!

Great park, despite steep admission fee at $12 per person. I would consider annual individual membership ($66) if I lived a bit closer. The trails are very well marked. Mostly flat, some very short uphills, make it very approachable. There are hike options of various lengths and trail conditions to meet the needs of any hiker. Trails are well maintained. Some of the trails are shared hiking / bridle (horses) so you'll find some horse poo as a result, but not much and to be expected. Lake Haigler loop was buggy, so bring bug spray.I'd highly recommend packing snacks and beverages and enjoying a picnic once you're immersed in the park, you'll find plenty of benches throughout.

Gorgeous park with miles of hiking! There's a nature center and some beautiful old cabins all around. There's also an old dairy farm that can be used as an event venue. The park is very clean and easy to navigate. You can stop by the pier on the lake and enjoy fantastic views or even take some horseback rides.
