Andy's Frozen Custard

A friend recommended Andy's to me and it did not disappoint. The strawberry shortcake was absolutely AMAZING!!!!

We love Andy's. However, this location is a bust. Went through the drive through at 10pm on a Thursday and was told "we're cash only right now." We then went through an atm across the parking lot and came back to be told "about that.... Our cash drawer is empty right now and we can't take card. Oh and we close in 45 min. Sorry." Find it hard to believe that was truly the case, sounded to us like they just didn't want to work anymore. And even if it was true, they should've at least been a little nicer about it.

I love this place. I've been going here for a long long time, and it is remarkable. The staff is always kind and happy to help. The outside reminds me of a 1950's bar, and feels very homey. The texture was absolutely perfect, and very silky. The taste is delicious and exquisite!

I absolutely love this Andy's Frozen Custard location! The employees are extremely polite, and they get you in and out fast. I've never left disappointed, and neither has my dog. She loves getting a pup cup every time we go. Best frozen custard around!

Only other Andy's Frozen Custard was near Concord Mills last summer and it was very good.Was pleased to find out they were opening in Cornelius but we moved to Denver NC which is about 8 miles away before the opened. I think they opened in either late October or early November.Finally got a chance to drop in the other day and they are very good.Staff is very friendly and helpful and a good variety of Frozen Custards. Tried the drive though today and unlike Chick--fil-A next door, they have this one knocked. Very quick and efficient and highly recommend.

Frankly, it isn't custard. Their "custard" reminds me more of ice cream. It doesn't have the thickness and flavor of famous custards like Rita's. It's more like cool whip, which isn't a bad thing, but just isn't custard. A little overly sweet also. Price and toppings were all good, but if you're in the move for custard, I recommend checking out somewhere else!

We frequent Andy's often, or used to. Between the recent price increase and the fact they've been out of vanilla custard the last several times we've gone it's time to part ways.

I love Andys but today, I came tru the drive thru this Saturday at 12 pm and just never got served, I was trying to get there attention , and even called with no response. And this is not the first time this has happened to me. I honestly have no idea what these guy's problem is.I also observed that there was someone in the shop when I originally went thru the drive thru. and I guess they just tucked behind the back counter area.

I love Andy's but was very disappointed with this location. The kids running shop were chatting with the car in front despite having a large line. They were friendly upon ordering, but my order came back a little over 1/2 full. What should have been a quick and pleasant trip ended up taking longer than anticipated and the result was skimpy. I like other locations better that prioritize quality and are consistent.

Raspberry, I cannot believe the waste of opportunity at this joint.Great ice cream but no place to sit except for steel benches out in the hot sun. Did anyone ever consider umbrella tables outside? And they have always short on help. Today we went there and there was one poor girl working alone trying to run the drive-through and walk-up. Not doable. We left. Felt so bad for the girl.
