Amos Howards Restaurant & Brew Works

Food and service were great. The tables are giant wooden beer kegs. It was a really fun and private for my wife and I. We brought our small dogs in a stroller and they got to sit right at our table.

My chicken salad salad was super delish BUT my husbands Buffalo chicken sandwich was so tiny it was more bun than meat. He was not accommodated by server/ it was like "Oh well, sorry. " He says he won't come back he's so disappointed. Too bad. I've never experienced this.

Most days are a hit, some days are a miss. The food is great 9 out of 10 times. The service is good 6 out of 10 times I believe that to be due to staffing shortages which is plaguing everyone at this point. I believe they do their best and I'll be back for sure. Cool place to eat and hang out. Great ambiance.

The ambience is rustic, with some booths in barrels. The food was spot on. Simple and good. My wife had the BBQ plate with two sides, broccoli and cole slaw. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal and the house wine. I love a good Ahi Tuna Sandwich, and this was definitely that! The tuna was cooked incredibly well. Nice and pink. I enjoyed my beer.This restaurant has full hours, contrary to a number of restaurants that seem to close at either 2pm or 2:30 pm, only to reopen later at 4pm or 5pm. The most challenging thing about this restaurant is not driving past the restaurant. There is no sign screaming "Amos Howard's." It is worth the effort.This is a keeper.

Once I would had never gave this place anything but 5 starts however this is my 1st trip back in 3-4 years, it started with the change of appetizers wanted the mushrooms which they don't do anymore then we ordered jalapeño poppers and they were over fried. Then we ordered 12 wings for $15 however we wanted 2 different types and that is $3 more. What the heck! The staff is slow and not very helpful really. Then we ask for a bigger table because more guess showed up and there was a big table open however we could not use it because you have to call to reserve it. I asked is it reserved she said no not tonight. I won't be back, they really acted like they were doing us a favor by serving us food. I WILL NEVER SPEND another dollar here.

Great chicken salad sandwiches. Enjoyed sitting in the giant beer barrels. Friendly staff good service.

My favorite place. We've been coming here for several years now and the food and service is always second to none. Probably the best burger you'll ever have. The staff is always friendly and prompt. The ambiance is very relaxed, love the barrels u can sit in and the music playing. All the food is almost always spot on from the burgers, wings, down the ranch and honey mustard. I hope it never changes. We just ate there again tonight and our food and waiter were great. I felt like I should leave another review!

Just one of those neat places that's been around for quite some time. A very good way to staff food is good and the beer is cold if you just looking for one of those out-of-the-way spots that just has an ambience to it, Amos Howard would definitely be one of those places.

Good food, but the property has been neglected for years. Potholes in parking lot, crumbling stucco, dusty air vents inside - that's just part of the problem. Owners should really invest some funds in maintenance/upkeep.

Could have been a really neat atmosphere but it smelled old and musty. Eating in one of the barrels was cool. Food was just ok at best.
