This place is a hidden gem in Kannapolis!! They have the best birria quesadilla & tacos!! Definitely worth checking them out!

Food isn't bad but it's not the best either. I've aren't here twice just to give them another try and it still was just blah. Not really seasoned or the best tasting compared to other authentic places I've had. Service was great both times and not that long of a wait. First time I order through a 3rd party and 2nd time I ordered to go. Ambience is nothing special but was very clean

This is hands down one of my favorite Mexican Restaurant! While I have never dinned in Amigo Taqueria, so I can't explain at the atmosphere of the restaurant. I have ordered Doordash from Amigo Taqueria numerous times and failed to take pictures every time. Lol. Their food is amazing and extremely fresh. I have tried the breakfast burrito, cubana, torta, and carnitas dinner plater. They load you with soooo much protein and it's soo juicy and flavorful. Their carnitas with the fried pork tips are extremely tender and it just melts in your mouth. Their portion size are also HUGE! Love their red and green sauces because it actually have some heat and flavor rather than bland chili sauce- the green sauce is definitely my favorite.

Staff was good/nice, food was not. In fact it was horrible .. and expensive too. We both ordered a plate of three taquitos with rice and beans. The taquitos were totally burnt on both sides - I have never had that happen anywhere in all of the Mexican restaurants I have eaten at. The rice was cold and tasted like it was made the day before. The black beans tasted canned. The tortilla chips tasted like something out of Food Lion's stock. The salsa was meh, didn't taste homemade. I have no idea why people like this place. Lousy food, atmosphere, etc. By the way, I'm half Hispanic and know my Mexican food. Hard past on this place.

There hasn't been a thing I have ordered that wasn't great here! Food is phenomenal, employees have Great Customer Service and are friendly and helpful. If you haven't been here it is a must try you WILL NOT be disappointed.

Food is incredible, especially the birria tacos, chorizo and al pastor. Super clean with a chill vibe. Great find!!!

The food was good my sister had to go for seconds bc she was to fat and in total she got 8 tacos and the service was good the food come fast

Hands down probably the BEST Mexican food I've had in along time. Tacos are amazing and burritos are great size. Customer service is fantastic and the prices are reasonable.

My experience has been anytime there's a smaller Mexican restaurant it's probably pretty good. This is no exception! As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with a warm, genuine smile from the staff. They are very friendly. It has a quaint, authentic feel. My son prides himself as a Mexican cuisine foodie of sorts. He had 3 tacos - shrimp, al pastor, and carne asada. He said they were definitely in the top three with the shrimp being the best he's had. Pretty impressive! I had the chicken enchiladas. Finally, I found a place that seasons the chicken in this dish. While the Salsa Verde wasn't the spiciest I've had, the overall dish was very flavorful. The beans were actually re-fried and not a puree mess. The chips were fresh and the avocado salsa had the perfect spice. This was an overall successful trip to this local spot in Kannapolis. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be back for more!
