Wow! Unexpected menu and portions to say the least! Friendly service, clean tables, and welcoming environment. Incredibly inexpensive to boot. The flounder was not great- a little gummy and the popcorn shrimp were standard. Hush puppies are long tube like shape which is kind of fun and tasty. Baked potato was solid. The 2 combo platter was plenty for two people. My peers got the scallops, oysters, clams, and chicken all pretty accepted except the scallops were a bit off. Onion rings are not recommended- very over cooked. Chicken sandwich got good reviews but potato soup was par. Lots of sauce choice but wished for fresh lemon instead of lemon packets. Cocktail sauce and tartar were OK. Would come back but probably not get a combo because it's way too much food and would target something it's some green to combat the fried.

YUMmMmmmmmm-O! After a LONG day at the NC Zoo our crowd of 7 was tired, Sweaty, and HANGRY! When we walked in we immediately noticed the funky cool decor and smiling faces waiting to help you! As mentioned we had a party of 7 so was nervous we would have to wait for an hour to get a table as there was so many people coming in to eat at this place BUT we were seated within 15 minutes! Our waitress was awesome grab drink orders returned quickly and knew what each of us ordered same with appetizers and then everyone's food order. Everything came out perfectly timed and fresh and HOT. The amount of food that they stake on the plates should nearly be illegal- in the MOST amazing ways! I MUST recommend the seafood in particular the shrimp and crab cakes with a loaded baked potato and coleslaw. Our drinks never went empty and EVERYONE voiced how scrumptious their dinner was.We for sure needed to-go boxes with the amount of food we were given! I can NOT forget to mention their incredible prices and combos! Great food, attentive staff, reasonably priced, EXCELLENT restaurant find! We will be returning!

Never had anything from here that I didn't like. Never can go wrong with their chicken strips or bites.

Usually have the jumbo shrimp and chicken tender plate with baked potato or fries. Always ready when I pull up. Great service!

Love the food! You get a lot of grout money, everything tastes good, inside is fun.Ranch is amazing.My only complaint is they often mess up our order when it's a pick up order. But they are happy to fix it when they do.

Great prices, great vibes, and more importantly great good. I came looking for a good meal and I got it. I stopped by yesterday for lunch and enjoyed my surf and turf meal. I would recommend giving this spot a try before Applebee's or one of those other well known chain restaurants.

I ordered a plate of oysters and scallops from americas roadhouse express on 12.13.24. The total for this came to $25.94. When I got home I had a plate of overcooked dried up SHRIMP and oysters. Immediately I called the restaurant and spoke with Xavier. He said to come back the next day and it would be put right. I went back but the "front end manager" on 12.14.24 who said she could do nothing except give a discount be cause I did not bring back the food. The food from the night before was so nasty even my dogs would not eat it, and at no time before this was I told to bring back the food. I had even taken a picture of it as well as the receipt. I work too hard, and long for my money to be sold inedible food and then offered a discount on the next plate of inedible food. Roadhouse express, you have lost a customer for life.

Nope!I've tried three or four times since my first time,it was so food. And since everything looks burned because they cook an old grease I've been in the food business for just about all my life, and I know how food is supposed to look and taste.

Excellent food and huge portions! Its a cute little place.. you may not stop if the locals didn't tell you how good it is!!

take out.salmon was way over cooked and they do not remove membrane from ribs and they too were way over cooked and sat in a puddle of sauce.
