All Sauced Up BBQ

Came back here for dinner after the positive experience last time. This time, the food was lacking. I ordered the Friday special, salt and pepper catfish with green beans and onion rings. My friend ordered a chopped barbeque plate with green beans and buffalo chips. Both of our green beans were cold. His bbq and chips were good. My onion rings were hot, but a little underdone and loaded with grease. My fish was okay. Frozen, deep fried. The breading tastes great, but the fish was average.The service was good. These people have a great wit and are enjoyable to talk to and they seems to be always ready to fill drinks, etc.The inside is a bit mediocre on the cleanliness. Our table wasn't very clean when I sat down.That being said, the food is what matters. Gotta give it a 3-stars. Limited options in Pilot Mountain, but will try somewhere else next time.

Stopped in for lunch with my family. We were visiting Pilot Mountain and just happened to find this restaurant via of Yelp! Absolutely a gem, the bbq was delicious. Also great hush puppies and Mac and cheese. The hospitality was outstanding and the staff was fun to talk with.Will definitely return on our next adventure to the mountains.

I'm not sure why this place is rated so highly. My boyfriend and I were passing through Pilot Mountain and stopped in for lunch based off of the reviews and claims of "good bbq." The food was mediocre and the service really brought my review down to one star. This place demonstrated poor Covid hygiene with some staff being inconsistent with wearing masks and gloves. Also, we ordered waters and when checking out we noticed they'd charged us for the meals (which included tea or soda). They kept trying to push the drinks on us even though we told them we wanted a refund, not drinks. We were not impressed at all and I would not recommend this restaurant.

Very disappointing breakfast early this morning!! When I arrived, there were 2 other individuals in the restaurant. I order veggie omelet, hash browns and coffee. When the waitress brought my food, I have a Western omelet with hash rounds, the kind you get in a fast food drive thru. She took the omelet back, apologized, and brought the correct item back. When I went to pay, talk about STICKER SHOCK!! The omelet apparently came only with toast, grits, or gravy. The FAKE HASHBROWNS that I received were a la carte!! That veggie omelet that I finally got with deep fried hash rounds (very greasy).....no toast, not grits, no gravy.....$11.90!!!Needless to say, I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK THERE!!!!

We heard it was a good place for breakfast so we gave it a try and we were pleased. Friendly people, eating area is small but not too crowded mainly a locals place i would guess. I would recommend it.

The first time we stopped by was a couple weeks ago. It was because we had blown a tire on the highway nearby and limped to the tire place next door, so we ate while they replaced our tire. It was delicious and the service was great. They have their own smokehouse, and you can tell. Both the BBQ and the sides were great -- both creamy and BBQ cole slaw, corn nuggets (sort of like hush puppies but with corn kernels), etc. We stopped by again today because we were traveling on a different trip and realized we were only about 12 mile away. The first visit was no fluke. Outstanding BBQ and service again. They have a nice covered patio so our dog could join us. They brought water for the the dog and were super pet-friendly. They also have ribs, chicken, etc., but we can get past the pork butt that's been smoked for 12 hours. Sadly, they are over two hours away from where we live, but we will be swinging by whenever we're in the vicinity. Unlike many BBQ joints they serve breakfast as well. Highly recommended.

Love the lady's that work here was nervous to go in their at first! Didn't look like much driving by but a friend brought me in and the lady's who work here are awesome and super nice! The food is good and I'm glad I finally got to eat head

Huge lunch portions. BBQ was outstanding. Slaw was creamy. Onion rings were piping hot. Great place

Food was not that good. BBQ was cold in the middle of the scoop on the plate. It was as if it was heated in microwave. BBQ slaw was not that great. Service was poor. Only three other people in restaurant only saw waitress once.

Nice and clean. Was cleaning when I came in. Nice. Just a cheeseburger. First time. Was pretty darn good. I'll go back for BBQ. Servers were great. Happy. Upbeat.
