My business partners and I had the pleasure of meeting Charlotte at Advent Coworking while we were on a quest for a new meeting space. Charlotte walked us through the entire facility and covered everything with a fine tooth comb! Where she left off Kevin took over! My partner loves this spot and it's more convenient for him so he signed up for a $149 membership on the spot!Advent just expanded two weeks ago and added a brand new multi level extension!? Advent is by far one of the nicer Coworking spots that we've visited on line and in person. They put a l

Cool little spot I never knew anything about off central avenue. I'm currently taking bartending classes here for a business I am about to start up and open. This place is very secured and huge. If you're looking for a building to host parties classes and or events I would definitely recommend Advent Coworking.

Brand spanking new, a few blocks off of Central Ave., this coworking space is a fine example of the exciting developments taking place in this area of the Queen City.Formerly a warehouse, the founders envisioned an open and expansive work space to serve as a hub for the creatives of Charlotte. Whether your intended masterpiece be a new kick-ass website, a tech startup, a novel, an oil painting, or podcast, you are greeted & welcomed into their blossoming community. *Really Siana, "blossoming"? Could you be any less original? You are writing about a creative enterprise for Christ's sake!* Ok...ok....emanating community? Emerging community? Let me sleep on it.Kevin, the cofounder, provided an engaging walk-through, answering all kinds of random questions with enthusiasm. I've visited coworking spaces in major cities and one thing I've learned is that the founders REALLY set the tone for the overrall vibe. Kevin appears to master that hard to achieve balance of gregarious, quirky, artsyness with practical business & operational acumen. The space has a wholesome productive feel to it. (By the way, it was 'shoes off' day there, so I strolled around in socks on the carpeted floor. Too frigging comfortable.)You can book conference room & event space directly on their website. They have lots to offer. Check them out :).

Advent Coworking space nailed it! A big thanks to Kevin, Rachel and Erin for hosting our 20-person team in Charlotte. It was incredible to have such a welcoming community that were happy to accommodate to our energy. The event space and conference room worked out well and we also took advantage of their podcast room. The neighborhood has a bunch of restaurants, a cafe and an escape room (fun team activity) all within walking distance or a quick drive. It's refreshing to see how Advent is shaping the work-space and work-communities of the future. I'd definitely recommend looking them up for hosting everything from week-long group events to a solo day pass. Lots of great people to connect with there :)

I've been a member of Advent Coworking for a month and a half now, and I'm incredibly happy with the space, the people, and the culture here. Kevin, Ryan, and Ali are awesome and always available and eager to help. I've run into familiar faces from the neighborhood and from the tech industry, and I've made new connections through the activities and events like the Tuesday morning bike ride, lunch 'n' learns, etc. Best of all, Advent truly reflects its community. It's the perfect blend of creative, laid-back, and professional, and it sits right in the heart of Charlotte. If you're looking for a workspace in Plaza Midwood, Noda, Belmont, Elizabeth, or Uptown, this is easily the best place to be.

Advent is a great place to host workshops, meetings, or like me, a full-day retreat! The staff is both helpful and flexible. The venue is artistic, providing a really modern, upscale feel. All the amenities you need are available including: large screen tv, spotless restrooms, tables, security cameras, chairs, tons of outlets, huge windows, and high ceilings (that add to the overall large feel). I comfortably fit over 25 people in the space classroom style. The feedback I was received was stellar; much of which included that they wanted to keep Advent on their radar for events they were planning. Now to top it off, the hourly rate is to die for! Ask for Kevin. He was an enormous help with everything!

I have the good fortune to serve on the board of an award-winning non-profit that serves immigrant and refugee children in Charlotte's Plaza Midwood neighborhood. To support a mission-critical, strategic project that we are undertaking, I worked with the team at Advent Coworking to secure space for our weekly strategy meeting. It has been exceptionally "easy" to work with Kevin and the team at Advent. They are professional yet warm, flexible with our needs, and responsive with their communications. Access to the building has been "problem-free", the room is always clean and ready, and the internet works like a charm (it is always "on" and fast...what more could you ask)? We are grateful to have convenient and cost-effective access to a great space...and to the incredibly responsive team at Advent.

This place is awesome for renting out event space. I've booked their conference room 4 times now and the process has been about as smooth as possible. The conference room itself is plenty big enough to hold 8-10 people, with a whiteboard, wifi, bathrooms nearby, everything you need for a team meeting. The cost is amazing too... only $10/hour. I initially looked at booking a conference room at local hotels (nothing fancy) and would have had to pay over $200 for 4 hours so Advent blew them away. I also checked in at a few other co-work sites in Charlotte as well, they were also priced higher so I think this is the best deal for a conference room in town. They also have a larger event space that I saw, but haven't used. This is a wide open space that they can configure multiple ways depending on what your event is.All in all, I highly recommend you using Advent for any of your event space or conference room needs.
