Far, far better than their Lancaster location. This one is clean and roomy, occupying the former 701 restaurant & bar. The menu is a book, so take your time. The bar is still there and they have a number of flavored margaritas, so sip as you browse the menu.We had come early for dinner, so the staff was kinda sleepy, just beginning to get back into service. The prices seem high for Mexican food. Carnitas $17.99. Three cheese enchiladas $8.99. Margaritas $11.99 each. A side of lettuce (!) $1.25. With tax, $70.25. For very basic meals & drinks.That said, it is convenient to Sun City and the other options are more commercial, so we will most likely come back.

Came for dinner with the family. Service was good. Drinks a little weak. Ceviche was the best part. The rest of the food was okay. Would try the restaurant again.

Great staff, full bar, has one to two event spaces. Family friendly environment, more upscale than typical traditional Mexican restaurant. The owner Lucio, the GM Jonathan and all the staff are very professional, friendly, and gave 5-star plus service! We had a company event there with over 100 people they accommodated everyone, wonderful to plan and work with for such a large group of people. Jonathan followed up and it was all hands on deck to make sure all of our attendees were happy throughout the event! Great menu. The food was excellent. Fair to say it is my favorite Mexican restaurant now. Reasonable price too. Taco Birra and bed stuffed peppers (chile poblano).

Our server Daniel was very attentive and nice. I got the traditional quesadilla and it was stuffed with steak, chicken and shrimp, it was excellent. The restaurant had beautiful decor and a nice walk in area to take pictures. I will definitely be coming back.

Great addition to Waxhaw! Although a little pricey, I found the food and service to be spot on. I also got a good chuckle at the robot that brings the food to the table

Worst service ever took 15 minutes to bring out two WATERS and we had to ask him twice for him to do that barely acknowledged us after we were seated the food was greasy and definitely not fresh!

Food was great and the service was spot on. We had fajitas and also guacamole with our chips. Beer on tap was also great.

Our server and management was awesome. Ambiance was nice family friendly and clean. Food was good ,everyone enjoyed their meal, mine was somewhat dry. But overall we would go back for sure.
