Acai Frenzy

I decided to try a new Acai spot. They are located in the Harris Teeter shopping center. Great location.When you walk in, it is very generic. There is no inside seating, but there is one outside bistro table on the sidewalk. I was immediately greeted. I wanted to try something other than the basic berry bowl that I get from every other place. I ordered the Mango chamboy bowl. I'm allergic to pineapple so I subbed that for kiwi. Big mistake. For me, the ingredients are not a good match. The Mango blend lined at as the base had no taste of mango anywhere, tasted like bland pureed baby food. It was borderline awful.My daughter however ordered the acai bowl and it was delicious. I would go back, but order my usual.

Been wanting to come here and finally made it. My son treated me for Mother's Day weekend. Delicious! I had the açaí bowl and he had the protein bowl with whipped cream. Very special treat. Small bowl was plenty for me but he got a large. All natural!! No hidden anything! Coming back.

They don't get better that this. You can likely see I am a regular.... because these bowls are amazing. I buy several at once and freeze them. I only get raspberries as my fruit. Raspberries freeze very well. Excellent customer service. Thank you Acai Frenzy. Look forward to the next visit.

Atmosphere was nice and convenient location. Service was average, nothing over the top. Prices were much higher than I found listed online. We received an incorrect order. The berry bowl was missing both the blueberries and the coconut. The amount of acai is all 3 bowls was almost non existent. Just some high priced fruit bowls. There are numerous other options in the area.

This was my first time trying an acai bowl and it did not disappoint!!! I got the small protein bowl and that thing kept me full for about half the day! I'm honestly thinking about having it again for breakfast tomorrow lol! I'm not an acai expert but it wasn't too sweet or tart it was a nice balance and the protein toppings to acai was a nice ratio! I can't wait to try another flavor and I believe you can build your own too! Service was great the young lady at the register was polite and helpful. I do recommend calling in at least 5 to 10 minutes before you arrive though. I ordered in person and the wait was a bit long. But overall this is definitely a must try!

One of the best Açaí bowls I've had! Fruit was fresh and super sweet. Perfect combination of ingredients.

Delicious and nutritious breakfast! Acai Frenzy has a lot of different fruit options and a good amount of toppings. Not the cheapest, but I've also paid more for a bowl. I got a basic strawberry and banana acai bowl with coconut flakes. It was so fresh and generously topped with fruit. The small was enough to fill me up, but i'll go with a medium next time! The spot is small, a order to go type of place. Service was friendly and helpful. I'll be back when in the area!

I ordered the Açaí bowl minus bananas. There was more fresh fruit and granola than açaí. The flavor was good but there was not enough açaí. I would not go back or recommend.

Friendly staff. I ordered the Acai bowl and removed the berries. The fruit was fresh and amazing. I was disappointed with the amount of actual Acai in the bowl. There is a layer of granola on the bottom of the bowl and a very thin layer of Acai is on top of it. Once the Acai melts it's basically Acai flavored granola. The size small is the perfect amount for a snack. I'd rather have more Acai than granola.
