The hotel staff is very nice and welcoming.The room was spacious and well outfitted. Comfortable seating, a great view, and a nice bed.The location was very convenient for our meeting.The sad part of our stay was the maid service. We did not receive towels on the second day. We had to ask even though we followed the instructions for making our desire for new towels and washcloths known when we checked in.

If you are an AC fan, you know what to expect. The rooms are spacious and modern with a Nice clean layout.Staff was stellar! They were anticipating my arrival. Check in was super quick. On the way to my room they had a stand with fresh lavender sachets. The spa girl in me screamed inside. I took two and hung in my room on the bedside lamp!Corner room allowed so much natural light if you decide to leave the blackout curtains open. Blackout curtains are also truly blackout and let's no light in.Shower was amazing! Bed was comfortable, and TV is Firestick friendly Ice machine also has water dispenser so you can stay hydrated friends.Parking is at the entrance in their 2 story garage. 2nd level allows key card access to the building right near the elevator.Super convenient to shopping Plazas and lots of food nearby.

I got to give it to AC hotels. Ive seen the same anytime and anywhere I go. Smiles on the staff's faces, friendly, staff meetings going over expectations, and cleaning, tons of cleaning all day and diligently to even the elevators. Basically the chic fil a of hotels so far.

You know at times the smallest things can mess up a great visit but then something happens to make it better and reaffirm that customer service is not completely dead. Not dead but on life support.On a recent visit to Charlotte to get out of town and meet up and have some fun with a friend. We enjoyed staying in the SouthPark area and decided to stay in the area again but this time at this hotel. The check in was ok but I know it is not me and not the first time when checking in a hotel but it is like you have to be aware of your benefits that come at a specific tier level. It is a rarity but how often are you greeted as a tier member and this is the reason I have the benefits on the ready. As I was checking in another one of the hostess mentioned that the system was being rebooted and all the tv systems were down. It would be nice if the person checking me in mentioned that. I did meet the tech in the elevator who was working on the tv issue who gave me the skinny on the issue that he was working on. I did go down later after a few hours and asked again and inquired about some possible points as compensation but was just told no. Note to self get names and this also tells me maybe a bit of communication between the tech and staff about what is going on. Usually not a big deal but it was during March Madness. Overall the hotel was clean and nice. The rooftop bar is a nice place to chill and even warm up near the fireplaces with a great view of the Queen City. Rooms are of very nice size and very quiet. If you need more towels just remember "conjunto de toallas" as when I asked for a set from housekeeping I was immediately told no ingles. Well ok let me try asking another way in Spanish this time. Even then I was told no and repeated myself. In all honesty I think she was not expecting me to ask or maybe even thought I knew Spanish. It also helps when the staff is talking about or complaining about a few of the guests which I can completely understand as some guests are horrible. Now after saying all that you are probably wondering how did I give this hotel the stars I did. If Marriott corporate ever reads these Yelp reviews they should commend the Operations Manager, Regan L. I put in my thoughts after getting a survey via email and less than 12 hours later I was contacted via a phone call and an email. She addressed my concerns and customer service is not just in the present during the stay but great when there is a follow up after the stay. Going back to the start of my review Reagan L. is the something that happened to show Marriott actually cares about the experience of their guests. So would I stay here again? Yeah I would if back in the area thanks Regan.

Modern luxury, missing a few key touch points. The drive in entrance looks like it's under construction, but it isn't. Desk staff efficient, maybe a little too fast. At this price point, speed and communication is a delicate balance. The room is gorgeous in a sparse, modern way. The sofa bed struggled to keep its bottom cushion on. Bed is nice, bathroom is upscale, matching hotels at higher price points. Bluetooth connection to the TV was spotty and we abandoned it. The room is super quiet, never heard a peep from other guests. This hotel is adjacent to Shops at SouthPark, a perfect location for some serious shopping. Working Bluetooth, and furniture that didn't slide apart would have made this a 5 star review.

In my many years of working in the hotel industry and traveling for personal the atmosphere is awful . You don't get greeted or ask if you need help . Coffee area woman was very unpleasant to other woman . She was greeting and talking to men coming by . As I got my coffee I suppose I don't get a receipt if I pay in cash she gave me an incorrect change . Not complaining she gave me a $1 instead of .75. I believe she knew I was adding in my head . I asked questions about the menu for breakfast and she gave me no suggestions or ask what do I have in mind to be willing to help in any way . Front desk no communicationsCoffee front desk just horrible .I got my $3.25 coffee and left No bye or have a good day !

This hotel is beautiful! From the beginning at check-in my experience a very pleasant. I cant say enough about checking in on 11/13 @ 4:20p. I didnt get the young lady name but she was super friendly and helpful. She had great conversation and the entire process only took about 5 mins. I went in kind of skeptical bc I was irritated that my mobile check in did not work but that could be a Marriott issue and not AC. Walking into the room I was very IMPRESSED. It's pretty modern but the most important thing to me was it was CLEAN. I've stayed at so many hotels during and post pandemic and housekeeping has been a horrible issue. This hotel was extremely clean and I love that. Not only the room but even the common areas. The hotel was quiet and not alot of noise in the hallways at night time or at least on the 7th floor. This hotel was so impressive for me/us that I started to write my 5 star review in the first hour or so after arriving. But I thought about the one thing that turned out to be the downside. The bed....this bed was horrible!!!! I was up all night and my body was hurting like hell. I tried putting a pillow under my hips/side but still tossing and turning all night. At first I thought it was just me and maybe I'm getting old but wife turned over at 2:00am saying how horrible the bed was. I strongly considered packing up and going home to my own bed but didnt feel like carrying the bags downstairs and convincing my wife. I wanted to LOVE this hotel but if you plan on sleeping here, unfortunately I would have to say find another hotel. Maybe it was just room 725 bed but the bed took away from the rest of the beautiful hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Loved the waiting area a day the rooms. Everything cleana and the staff was nice. If it wasn't for my room having a bunch if them little ants, this would definitely be a 5 star. Oh and nothing really in walking distance so be prepared to uber for food if you didn't drive. I'd definitely try again.

Visiting the area just for a personal getaway so we decided to give AC hotel a shot. I will not visit this location again. The room lacked cleanliness. Upon entering the room, I began to wipe down as I always do. The couch had something brown right in the middle of it and a bunch of white stuff on the chair arms. I wiped it with my wipes and it came right off, which tells me the room was not properly cleaned. I then noticed brown stuff on the little tables beside the bed, I wiped that, and again it came right off. I went to check out the bathroom. The toilet had piss looking stains that had dried in which tells the toilets were not properly cleaned. Also, behind the toilet roll on the wall was brown stuff, I wiped it and it came right off. Lord knows what that could have been. Pulled the spread back and there was brown stuff on the spread. At this point, I'm disgusted and won't return. This place has the look but is definitely not the place to go if you expect cleanliness. I won't be returning.
