ABC Spirits

T'was the night before Thanksgiving and... the liquor store was kickin'! Everybody was buying their alcohol before the store closes for the holiday. This ABC location has a great selection and is well organized. The aisles are arranged by the type liquor. I like that they carry a lot of local products. They mark the products that are made in-state with a blue "NC" on the price. The employees are very friendly. They are eager to assist you locating what you are looking for. They know the inventory and can answer questions.

Okay let's just get it out there! I am a big fan of Government run spirits sales. Liquor is one thing Uncle Sam sells very well. This store is a leading example of that fact.Not only do they have everything a girl and her hubby from Ireland could want (including a huge selection of Irish whiskey from his particular home county), but the gentleman who works here is practically a liquor historian! I will get his name next time, and there will be a next time, but for now let's call him the Yoda of libations.They have harder to find brands that some of the other ABC Stores do not carry. They also have up to date rebates for the penny saved is a penny earned type like me. I have great respect for efficiency, expertise and excellence and this ABC location has them all. Five stars, very well deserved!

Fairly typical ABC store for this area. There are some larger and some smaller. About what you would expect.
