Great authentic Cuban food in Charlotte! One of my go to spots in Charlotte where I can always count on it for good food and service.

We are in love with this restaurant. My husband and I wanted to try it and wow great eats. Our server was Jason, and he was so attentive and pleasant to speak to. We'd come back. The piña coladas were so good, the coffee with milk so tasty and fresh. I had the Miami Cuban sandwich and was satisfied with my choice. The husband had the Milanese sandwich with chicken. AGAIN A MUST-GO. THANKS AGAIN**UPDATE 2022**Nope, it's not worth going, honestly. A convenience fee and gratuity are automatically attached, and our waiter Alberto was far from attentive. Needless to say, the churrasco I ordered was lacking the flavor luster you'd expect. I've dined in higher-rated restaurants and superb quality food and nor had to spend a quarter of the amount I did here. It'll be our last time there. It's not worth us going. I know COLA hurt a lot of places, but wow, that was outrageous. Overpriced meal, if I may say so myself.**UPDATE 2023**We ended up going as soon as I heard there was new management. Went in October, and I can gladly say it has gotten better and the food was superb. Now, the prices I'd say need to be slightly adjusted because this isn't fine dining. To pay $6 for a side of maduros is not a fair price when I have gone to other places, and that same order is half the price. Just a suggestion. Also some of the young people working need better training. Which, I do understand that the new management just came in, so that is a work in progress. Also, try the tres leches, IT IS AMAZING!!!!!As for the atmosphere, it is very clean, and I am Puerto Rican, so music is in my blood, lol.

I was looking forward to returning to Havana for the beef empanadas I love the most. We had a simple lunch. The service was super fast, per usual. The restaurant is fairly quiet for lunch and they have a comfortable atmosphere. Always a pleasure to dine here!

I have tried to sleep for a couple hours now because I have to work tomorrow but the loud bass sound coming from Piece of Havana is keeping me awake. Piece of Havana is not a good representative of our neighborhood. It's actually disrespecting our neighborhood. Rude when I called to ask them to obey the noise ordinances but they swore at me and hung up. Recommend steering clear of these clowns.

I hope that you love garlic, because as soon as you walk into the place, wow! The place permeates with the aroma of garlic, which makes me hungrier and more eager to consume everything on the menu. The decor is cheerful and they have some fun art on the walls. I haven't seen the live music yet, but I like the ambience music. The food is delicious! Well seasoned, a little on the salty side, but that just makes the mojitos taste even better. The service was very friendly and prompt.

Sorry! I believe everyone will look for a 5. I'm a high maintenance customer.Was here 10 years ago, hanging out with friends. Lately I visited a few times as friends like assemble there. Last night for the new year count down also for friends told me they would be there. Then most left early as they didn't like the music last night.They had live music and singers. We were all salsa and bachata dancers. If you are not picky, that's good to enjoy some Latin music and have Cuban food and drinks.I'm not from Cuban & I've no idea about that.One good thing is easy parking!

They have a band or a group of guys that come in and perform really great music that I think starts at 7 PM on Thursday and Friday nights. The food's pretty good. The servers seem to be long-standing and the drinks are acceptable. Parking is easy.

Your insistence on playing LOUD music into the wee hours of the morning (past 1am!!!) is incredibly disrespectful. When your music is so loud an entire neighborhood can hear it, that's too much! I live a mile away and it was like you were in my back yard last night. News flash-people (aka potential customers) live near your business, and they have jobs to go to, so some of them have to get up and leave early the next morning. Even on Sunday mornings. And parents have little kids who need to be able to get to sleep. We called last night asking if the music was from you and you said no, you only had a DJ inside until 2am. Well I drove by at midnight and it was definitely you. Sounded like an outdoor concert! We tried calling you back but no answer. Shocker. You probably couldn't hear the phone!Shame on you for treating your neighbors like this.

I ordered delivery service and the food was pretty good! The empanadas were the best thing I've had (chicken). I also ordered the pasta and that was delicious! I think the pricing is fair based on the quantity that is given to go. My spouse ordered the Cuban sandwhich that was "mid" I wouldn't personally get it. Thanks for reading my review!
