A Little Taste Of Chicago

I tasted these hotdogs at a Yelp event! The hotdogs were mini and unique. Mine came with a pickle and tomato on it! It is a black couple who own this food truck!

The hot dog??????? SO GOOD, I am a NC native so I usually get down with some slaw and chili on my hotdog but this Chicago dog has my heart. The pepper and the pickle *chefs kiss*. This is a family owned food truck so the service was great. I would DEFINITELY come again.

This food truck was nearby my job and I decided to check it out. I ordered the 3 Chicken Wings combo with mild sauce. My coworker ordered the Italian beef combo and he really enjoyed it. It was delicious! The fries were fried perfectly, crispy and crunchy. The wings were perfectly seasoned and had the perfect amount of sauce. The person working at the window was nice. I couldn't finish my food so I got a to-go box. I decided to share the remaining wings with my friend and she really enjoyed them. I'd definitely revisit whenever I see them around.

For a foodie...our world has been flipped upside down...we went from gathering together and creating friendships over plates and cocktails to sticking to ourselves and fearing anyone that is not close family or a pet. It was so great to see a food truck today especially one where the food was amazing...the chicken wings and fries are crisp and seasoned to perfection and for 10.00 I could not beat the deal

One, two, three times you are out! This is the worst food I have ever had from a food truck! The first time the food looked delicious! The chicken was golden brown, the fries were crispy. That was it, the chicken tasted sour/funky! My coworker said the grease was bad. Second and third times the wings tasted awful, burnt and I think the grease was bad again. The strawberry shortcake was sour too. It's 100 degrees outside and it is sitting in glass jars in the window. The best thing from the truck was the Coke!

Maxwell street polish dog was amazing. I was able to email them my order and the time frame I wanted to pick up my food. The food was hot, they made sure I had all that was needed and they provided a safe environment. The received friendly service with a smile. A great food truck.

You can't go wrong with the Chicago dog or the tenders. Fresh, tasty, and affordable.

Loved the Chicago dog and of course the fries with that "Chicago style" mild sauce was on point. Was a little disappointed with the Italian Beef, it was OK but a little dry and salty. Overall, it was definitely worth the try and worthy of a repeat.

Fast service, fantastic Italian beef and chicago dog. Not a personal fan of the style of fries, but that is my own undoing:). Fantastic service at the tawba walk and my belly was happy!

Been trying to track these guys down for a few months now. I finally was able to last Friday. I tried just about everything on the menu. I'm a Chicago native that has been in NC for ten years now. Finding legitimate Chicago style food is hard to come by down here. So I had to try them out. I amHappy to say they offer legitimate Chicago brands. The quality is fantastic. Everything from the staple bright green relish on a Chicago style dog to the hot giardiera on the Italian beef. I agree with one of the previous reviews, their Chicago style Hot dog is much better than Matt's Chicago dogs. Nothing against Matt's but LTofChi dog is slightly bigger and you can really appreciate the quality in the dog that way. Full disclosure the Italian beef was slight sub par due to the portion size. But the quality was there, you could tell the beef and au ju was good quality. Also noting the bread makes the sandwich and it's nearly impossible to get the Chicago style bread down in NC. With that being said the bread wasn't the issue, just would have liked a little more meat!Hot dog and Maxwell street polish were both superb!Lastly if I could suggest one last thing I wish I could order a TWO dog meal instead of just one. Or maybe individual items instead of Fries included. Fries were great, but I'd rather fill up on the Real deal items! And to close out this review, the owner and his daughter were very friendly and great to talk to. Best of luck to the owner's daughter who has a few more years left at Howard U!I will be back!
