???? Denial?? Dear Community This is not a joke or retaliation on this restaurant. This is a review and this manager must have been in-charge the date of our visit. I would gladly stop by if you thinking I'm someone else.Will you give me a refund when I come?

I ordered the sliced brisket plate with okra and mac and cheese. I did not get sliced brisket. I got pieces of brisket that looked like the leftover on the cutting board. It was dry and over cooked. The sides were good, but the brisket not eatable without a ton of bbq sauce to get it down. For 19 dollars, I will not be going back.

Good BBQ ribs, nice smoke but a little dry. The portion of the full-rack of ribs was as-expected, enough for 2-3 people in one sitting, but the size of the side items was too small... Fries dont cost much, so not sure why such a small serving on a high-price rib plate.My daughter ordered the BLT and added a beef-patty. Good flavor, no issues, fresh toppings and well prepared.Staff was cheery and helpful, but a little light for the number of tables, so we were a bit slow in getting response on re-fills and boxes and condiments... I think we waited about 45 minutes between ordering and getting the food, so either it is real fresh? Or there is some other issue going on in the back... And with a very busy waitress (who was great to us!) our total meal time was about 2 hours.Kids dont do well for 2 hours of sitting at a table.

Why is this a 4 star? 2.5 star at best. Came for the cod, ate the ribs. Server suggested not to eat the fish. Strike one. Grilled chicken tasted chewy. Strike two. Didn't finish the tray and ended up leaving never wanting to come back. If you're looking for generic, this is the place for you. There's far better options in town. Do yourself a favor!

This is the Indian location but it's listed as Fort Mill and I always thought ppl were crazy when they said one location taste better than the other but now I believe. This location is inconsistent at best. Sometimes the bbq is dry and when I ordered chili cheese fries this visit the chili or the cheese had a burnt/scorched taste to it and the fries were under done. The hush puppies are smaller and we're not consistently fried (some light and some dark) which tells me they were either a mix of fresh and leftover hush puppies or someone has no idea how to set timers on the fryer.We'll be giving this location a break and going to the Tega Cay location hoping for better results.

Checked out 521 on a Saturday evening around 7. They were out of 2 items I wanted (hush puppies and sliced brisket). I ordered the chopped brisket, red skin potato salad and baked beans. I enjoyed my sides but thought the brisket was just ok and somewhat dry in some bites. I also enjoyed there 3 sauce options. I would check them out again earlier in the day. The service was ok but time to get the food was longer than expected with the amount ppl in the restaurant. Did you really have a bbq plate if it didn't involve hush puppies?

I went there yesterday for lunch. It's a nice place and I like barbecue a lot. I remember when this place used to be across street and down a ways and it was really good. They have a nice bar area. However, I'm pretty sure that their baked beans are straight out of the can. No meat. I saw one piece of onion it taste exactly like store-bought off the shelf Baked beans to me. Also, the banana pudding I guarantee they're buying box banana pudding also from the store, making it out of vanilla wafers and then trying to sell it for 425 each. I've eaten a lot of banana pudding and this is definitely not homemade.they're just buying stuff off the shelf and marking up the price. That's my take, three stars.

We often stop at 521 BBQ for an enjoyable meal. My favorite is the baby back ribs, it is exceptional! The kids love the mushroom hamburger and chicken tenderloins. The staff are very friendly and the service great! Lively music makes for a fun ambiance. We will be back soon.

First time dining in. Under staffed. Slow service. Inaccurate order. Complimentary hush puppies not brought to the table. Kids meal ice cream not offered. Server forgetful and messy. Unsure of menu items available. Not one item ordered taste right. Food tasted old and reheated. Literally not one item tasted ok to consume. We left. Paid bill and tipped over 20% despite our disappointment. Server asked if we wanted to wrap the food up and we declined twice. Never inquired more about why we chose not to eat the food. And we left it at that. Others were dining in and seemed to enjoy their food. We did not. Cannot recommend and will not be returning. Lastly, server stated she would be back to refill bbq and that also didn't happen. We ordered the following as an fyi- brisket tray with sweet potato waffles fries, onion rings and salad. Mac and cheese with baked beans and sautéed green beans and lastly a bowl of chili. Literally not one item tasted ok to eat. I gagged and immediately tried not to vomit. My entire family of four. Also, couldn't eat the food. I just hope we don't get sick tonight. Blessings.

I came in 1/11/24 around 12 I was greeted with a smile at the door the place wassnt too crowded so I decided to sit at the bar. I had the hush puppies which were Delicious and ordered a turkey burger with onion rings .The Turkey burger was a tad bland but the onions rings were good . The food was ok definitely will come back and try something else on the menu .
