2nd & Main

So so fun! A cute, stylish, clean establishment. My sister and I came just to hang out and Trent was the bartender. He made the BEST strawberry margarita and blackberry whiskey sour. Great drinks, and atmosphere. We will be back!

My wife and I stopped in for cocktails before dinner, and this was the first time we had been here. The inside is clean and modern, not divey at all. It's comfortable and there is room to sit down and chill out on couches. There were not many customers, and the bartenders were friendly and helpful.They have an average sized cocktail list, and I chose an old fashioned since I do enjoy them and feel that I can judge based on others I've had. They do have the option for smoked, so I chose to have mine hickory smoked. Then I chose the whiskey, which was good and bad. Good because it was good whiskey, bad because I had never seen it and it was expensive. I would have preferred to be warned so I could have had it neat instead of mixing it with anything. Oh well. The old fashioned was quite good.The blackberry whiskey sour was fine. I tasted it, and have enjoyed a whiskey sour or three in my lifetime. It was more sour than I expected. My wife liked it though, which is what mattered.Overall, the drinks were good, but I wish they had food!

2nd & Main was a much needed addition to Uptown Lexington! Lexington has done a great job in bringing some good shops, food, breweries, cidery, and others to their downtown, but really need a nicer bar (especially with live music) and 2nd & Main does a great job of filling that area!Fittingly just at the end of the downtown areas at 2nd Street and Main Street, the bar is close enough to the other places on Main Street to take a little stroll over to, but also has some parking around it making it relatively easy to get to. I believe the location was a bar previously, but is now owned and run by the owners of Olde Well Tavern. The area is really nice with a very large main bar area and floor and then two lofts at each end that over look it. A really cool spiral stair case leads you to the front one and then there is a pool table in the rear loft.Mandy does a fantastic job with drinks, and I would suggest just letting her know what you like and she will come up with something for you! We have only been one time so far when they had music, but we had a great time. As you would expect, it can get a little crowded on those nights, but not too bad. It is also nice that you can hear the music, but it is not so loud that you cannot talk to the people beside you.Definitely a nice fun spot to check out in Lexington!

Beautiful stylish bar with a second floor with games and more seating. Relax and fun for sure! Stopped by and one of the nice bartenders [Trent] gave us some tips about the downtown Lexington and to where we could go. Great place to relax and have a drink or two!

Stopped in here while driving through Lexington. The facility is super clean, bright, and modern with plenty of room to spread out. There's a bar area and a few sitting areas including one upstairs. The bartender was super friendly and was funny at that; always a nice treat after a long day. Beer selections were great and they had a handful of good liquor selections too. This is a great addition to the small downtown scene in Lexington. Will be back when I'm in town!

Nice little spot. They certainly have made the most out of the space they have to work with.
