Food and service were both excellent. The place was packed, the atmosphere was fun and energetic. Our large party ordered a variety of selections, burgers, special fried fish plate, chicken Florentine, nutty mixed up salad with blackened chicken. Try the brown sugar bacon salad dressing! The food was fresh, scratch made and you could tell that time, energy, and care go into making it. Hand breaded cheese sticks appetizer simply amazing! All our entrees came out together & hot. The menu has a great selection, something for everyone. Also, definitely try the rotating specials because they always offer something different and creative. Special side this time was sweet potato waffle fries. So definitely check on the specials because they are not listed on the menu.

I went here with a group of about 30 people. We had reservations, of course, and they were well prepared and ready for us. The food came quickly considering the size of our group. I had a half club sandwich and apple slaw. It was very good and reasonably priced. Our waitress did an excellent job. I would definitely go back again.

I rarely write reviews BUT I just had to for this place! 101 Main deserves 101++++ stars! Visiting my folks for a few days & we got a to-go order... Reuben with side potato salad & pimento cheese burger with side onion rings. Between the 3 of us we split it all up. 1000000000% delicious. Huge burger & Rueben!! Will definitely be back hopefully before I leave!! Thanks Drew!! -Q

The brunch today was amazing! Our bar/server made an excellent cranberry pineapple mimosa and my hash was delicious!

Stopped in here after a few drinks at the Levee. Bit of a wait with line, which is hard to believe for Valdese, but we got suited soon enough. Staff was very nice.I ordered the Pimento Cheese Burger and thought it was great. The steaks that some tables were ordering also looked to have been cooked very well, so might go with that my next time I visit. I go 4 out of 5 because while the fiancé and I both enjoyed our meals and would return, it did mess our stomachs up a bit. We're not sure what it was since things were definitely cooked well, and it definitely wasn't food poisoning, but this was only meal we had outside of the house in the 2 days prior. Perhaps one of the beers there or elsewhere didn't sit well with us.

I like their salads, My husband likes the burgers. It is nice to have a great ambience for a good dinner. The added touch was keeping some traditioal Waldensian food on the menu, nice. My favorite was when they had music. Added so much to the evening.

Food is very good and we had great service on a busy Friday night. The wait was about 20 minutes.

The food was great. The service was a little slow but the young man had about 7 or 8 tables so he was doing pretty good for all that he had going on. Definitely will eat there again.

Pimento cheese burger was cooked just right, and the apple slaw had a good depth to the flavor. The peaches & cream stuffed French toast was sweet enough without being too sugary. Both the onion rings and steak fries were very good without being greasy. There is a decent selection of alcohol, but we didn't have any.
