I used the drive thru service. Ordered double cheeseburger with fries. Got my other fine. But I asked for some mayo along my ketchup. They tried to charge me for the mayo. Then I said "what!?"Management at this time gave me the mayo then told me "not to come back".I asked for his name and he just walked away. When I asked The other employees they just looked at each other they all seemed scared. And I just drove away.

Charley's hamburgers are phenomenal and their onion rings are done just right. Charley's is a little hamburger place that has a drive through but their food packs a punch. So good. When I crave a cheeseburger I go to Charley's. The employees are always pleasant, friendly, and quick to fill your order. There are outside tables if you want to eat there and enjoy the good weather of San Diego.

Super fast and friendly service! Really enjoyed the Peanut butter and bacon cheeseburger. Freshly shaved onion, lettuce and tomato really hit the spot. Great flat top burger! Chili cheese fries similar to Wienerschnitzel but more ground meat & cheese sauce. I ask for well done fries so they stay crunch under the chili.And for the Charley's hot dog haters u just don't know. It's a ripper dog, deep fried so the skin is crisp and the inside tender. Don't let the dark color fool you. This gets dunked into my chili cheese fries. I really enjoy this style of hot dog. I had burger & fries for breakfast, open menu all day long.

Was in the area and craving for hamburgers. Searched for it and this place came up. I was expecting a sit down but it was a drive thru. One of the reviews won me over by saying it was the best burgers like how it was in the 90s. We gave it a try.Absolutely loved it. I got #6 double bacon combo ($11.95)It came with two thin pattie's, tomato, lettuce, onion, bacon, cheese, in house sauce and a sesame bun. So good! The fries remind me of McDonald and I love the shoe string fries lightly salted.I'm a sucker for corn dogs especially Wienerschnitzel and I saw 3 for $4.95. Had to try it and I'm liking it more than other places. Taste just the same with the batter and the hot dog was a size bigger! Oh and you must try the banana shake. Delicious. You taste actual chunks of banana. It was fresh, creamy and satisfied the sweet teeth.They sell croissants, Kebob sandwiches, cheese dog, pitas, and unique items like peanut butter bacon cheeseburger!There's an area for outdoor seating under the patio.
