I've never had a bad experience here.It's such a fun inviting atmosphere. I can come alone and read or get work done.I can come with my family and eat and play board games. I can come with friends and relax and hangout.It's one of my favorite spots in North Peoria!

I have eaten at fired pie and absolutely love their cauliflower pizza. Only problem is it is a few miles further someday I tried Char Pizzeria. I ordered 2 pizza and 2 drinks and almost fell over when they told me it was $56.08. Then they informed me each topping was $1. If I had known that before I ordered I would have gotten a standard pizza that had many of those items on it for $15 each. After seeing the review, the owner immediately came over to talk with us. She was very polite and even offered us a complimentary dessert. I do feel that she takes pride in her business, and does value her customers.

We met a big group of friends for happy hour here recently. The patio was a great place for all of us. The bartenders were very friendly and did a great job with a large group. Although I didn't not get anything to eat, the pizza and salads looked very good. I will have to come back for a meal.

Kicking myself for taking so long to write a review considering I have been coming here for years. Without a doubt my favorite wood fired pizza place in the west valley and probably the entire state. Everything is always made fresh to order and between the unique menu offerings and the options to choose your own toppings there is always something here for everyone. The bacon and corn pizza is a must try and quite possibly the best kept secret on the menu. The outside patio and open air bar area is my favorite thing about this place. Very inviting on a nice day to enjoy one of their cold pitchers or a glass of wine. Also very family friendly with foosball and giant connect four to play outside. I have never had a bad experience here and you won't either, and I keep looking forward to supporting this locally owned small business.

Stopped in for lunch with my hubby this past week and enjoyed individual pizzas. Service was quick and good. We were able to enjoy the nice outside patio and the pizza was delicious. We would come back again. My hubby opted for the spicy sausage pizza and I created my own with pepperoni and black olives.

Little overwhelming at first -- but the staff was great!! Bianca pizza - delicious!! Recommended by the worker and she was spot on!!Meat lover pizza - hubby gave this a 2 thumbs up. Good spice and flavor! Bruschetta -- #7..8..9 -- these were delicious. Very similar to Postinos and much closer!! I would order these again!

Always a great experience at Char!! The food is phenomenal!! I highly recommend the Jot Hawaiian, it has so much flavor!! The staff is always so friendly and efficient and the bar tenders are great!! I always start with an Aperol spritz! Their beer selection is always great! As far as the environment it is a great place to bring friends and family! They are welcoming and have a great patio when we are out of the summer heat!

Very disappointed that this 8.00 Ceasar Salad has brown lettuce. I even said something to the girl making the salads and she said they were going to get fresh lettuce. I guess we still got the old stuff. This order was to go so didn't get the chance to get a new one.

Excellent local Neapolitan style pizza. Full service at the bar, otherwise it is setup more like a Mod Pizza. Enjoyed the food and good service from our bartenders. We will be back for sure.

So we just tried 3 pizzas and instead of having them delivered, my husband picked them up. The total bill was around $40. When I opened my box I was disenchanted and that's being polite!!! I ordered pepperoni and mushrooms, and could count less than 3 pieces of pepperoni for 2 slices, barely about 5 tiny slivers of mushrooms on a very thin crust! The KICKER is that it was COLDER THAN COLD as if it had been made HOURS earlier!! On fact NONE of our 3 pies were hot after picking them up ON TIME and bringing it home ourselves. My daughter disliked hers too. I normally enjoy eating the outer crust, but mine was SOOOO dried out that I could barely eat it!! It probably would have made a GREAT chew toy for a DOG!! The sauce for being authentic Italian lacked any real flavor. I'm really bummed that I didn't take a picture of it! So needless to say, we will DEFINITELY NOT go back!!
