The appetizers were sub par, but the Mushroom Lover with shrimp was excellent. Heavy on onions and garlic, the Mushrooms were 100% the star of the dish. Very nice staff too.

The egg rolls were absolutely amazing and the sauce it comes with is very good!!! Don't forget to tell them what level of spicy you want. I got a 1 forgetting I didn't ask for a 3.

I'm not going to lie I'm new to this area was was really hyped when I saw how many good reviews this place had. Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed and the food did not live up to the reviews. I got carry out pad Thai and pad see ew and though the pad see ew was decent in flavor the portion is insanely small. I feel like I can take 2 bites and the whole thing is gone, very disappointing and dissatisfied. The pad Thai was disappointing in two ways. 1. I ordered tofu and got about 4-5 pieces of immensely burnt tofu like inedible to the point where I had to throw it away. On top of there there are multiple chunks of chicken in my pad Thai, which isn't horrible but that's not what I ordered so why is it there...? Anyway overall a let down and hoping to spare some of y'all money down the drain. Continuing my search for good Thai around the area.

Ordered Papaya Salad and Chicken Larb. Both excellent in flavor and authentic Thai cuisine. Very nice clean restaurant. This is a diamond in the rough. Not too far from the Tacoma Mall. Definitely worth a try.

Best pad thai I've had since being on the east coast! Deeelicious! It hit all points fresh, savory, spicy, sweet, sour, and saucy! Spice level 2 was too mild for me so I added some chili that was given on the side and yeah I would say do a spice level 3 for it. if you like medium spicy get a 3, you won't be disappointed.

Welcome to the one women show. Literally!!! Only one lady handles everything, seating, ordering, cooking, and cleaning she is super nice. The place looks like a home on the outside but is a small restaurant inside. I enjoyed the pad thai and pad see ew. I would pass on the curry, it's very watery and hot it was almost impossible to eat. Plus she is busy all by herself I felt bad to tell her she forgot my rice. But the pad Thai and pad see ew is a must the fried rice is not bad but I could pass on that too

The food was good but for the price of the portions is ridiculous. Usually my family of 4 gets 2 dishes and we are full at any other thai resturant. Not here! The cashew chicken was the worse it looked like a lunch special portion. The lady was very nice though. But I won't we going back to spend that money if the portions stay that tiny.

Visited at lunch time on a Wednesday afternoon. Our party of 3 got seated immediately. Our server came right over and took out drink order. One of our party members had never had Thai before. The server was extremely patient and kind to all of the questions that were asked. Restaurant is clean and there is plenty of parking. Portion sizes are big! I had plenty left over to take home. Amazing Thai tea! Value is excellent for the cost. If you're looking for a quick place to grab a good fresh Thai lunch, this is it.

Yelp says Chang Thai is closed on Monday, yet they're very much open today! I was close by wanting Thai food or pho yet the options did not sound fabulous this evening. I chose a spot then thot oh I'll drive by that tiny little place I've gone a few times before yet haven't been in at least six months. I hoped they were still in business and open! Wow, it's my lucky day to find both options are true! Chang Thai is clean, including the bathroom, food is fresh and fabulous, staff is kind and attentive. I'll be back!

I'm torn on what I think of this place. We were running errands and decided we wanted to try a new place. We found this one near the mall and checked it out. It seemed that just one woman was working there. She was very nice. We ordered several dishes for takeout, and they were ready in a reasonable amount of time. 5 stars for the service/location. First the good-- the Thai fried rice was really tasty and the Crab Rangoon were probably the best I've had in a long time. 4 stars for fried rice and 5 for the rangoon.However, the yellow curry was really watery and lacked a lot of taste. It was a huge disappointment. When we first took it out of the bag, we were surprised at the curry's appearance, as it didn't look like any curry I'd seen. It was pale and looked watery, but we held out hopes it tasted better than it looked. It really didn't. 1 star for the curry.
