Chang Thai & Pho

It ain't the best but it ain't the worst. I think a lot of these folks giving them 1 stars are likely pretentious Seattle folks. Y'all know the type. 5 stars.

The owner is the chef and he is great. Large menu with lots of great choices. This is where the locals eat. We stop here on the way home from skiing. My favorite is red curry and my wife likes the cashew chicken. Kids like chicken stay and pad Thai. Spicy is right on the mark 1-5 stars.

This owner was open Christmas Day for dinner. Served and cooked everything himself. Great food! The Heat was perfect on the Chicken Pad Thai! Couldn't have had a better experience!! Highly recommend!

I hate to bash the small restaurants because I know that it is usually a Mom & Pop place and they need the business. I ordered several Banh mi to take out and they weren't good. The bread was stale and crumbly, the grilled pork was stringy and tough. The sandwiches were expensive. The service was pleasant though. Unfortunately I won't come back.

Food was 10/10. We ordered yellow curry and it was amazing. Some of the best curry I have had quite honestly! The lady serving us was kind. I would say that the overall vibe was a little interesting but it seems like a mom and pop place so I'm disregarding that. Great food!!!

Finished a day in the snow up at Snoqualmie and had a craving for some Asian food. Looked up places that served Pho and this was one of two options in North Bend. Located a block away from the famous "Twin Peaks" cafe, this place has an interesting vibe. They have a full bar, live band area and dance floor. Wish I was here later in the evening to see how much this place rocks. The menu is very robust and impressive. All sorts of Thai and Vietnamese food in the menu. At first I was skeptical just how good the food could be. I ordered the chicken pad see ew noodles. My friends got the pho with beef slices. There are two different jars of chili oils available to spice up your meal even more. My dish was really good. Well flavored and had a nice amount of chicken. My friends really liked the pho. They raved about how delicious the broth was. Nice to have a different option of food up here.

Only thing Good about this place is the service. Waitress was amazing, beautiful inside and out. Wine was not good, tasted days old. The food was chewy and not eatible. The place felt dirty and like I needed to sanitize after, this is the first time I have ever felt that way after eating at a restaurant. I hope the waitress is able to get a better gig!

II've had a lot of Thai food, some really terrible Thai food in Seattle so I was worried Thai and Pho in the same place! But I was pleasantly surprised! The food, drinks, service ! All perfect !

I wanted to give Chang Thai & Pho the benefit of the doubt after seeing all the negative reviews, but the food was disappointing overall.The Tom Kha was way too sweet and the Pad Kee Mao was really bland. The yellow curry was tasty, which is why I gave this review an extra star, and the fresh salad rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce were not bad.I ordered delivery online, and it arrived just slightly outside the delivery window, which wasn't bad at all given it was a Friday night around 6pm. I really wanted to love this place, but the flavors were off.

They're always very nice here, food is tasty, some serving sizes are reasonable but the soup portions are very very small for the money! I just had the smallest bowl of take out Tom Kah soup for 11+ dollars.
