Very cute space. Adorable decorations, settings, and vibes. The owner & her family are very nice & welcoming, telling you their recommendations, to feel free to ask for anything, etc.The food is a decent spread of Mexican dishes from the traditional rice, beans, and enchiladas to the more authentic birria, eggs rancheros, chilaquiles, chorizo, etc. There's also a nice pot of menudo with all the fixings. They also have an omelette station where they'll make your omelette & eggs to order, as well as handmade tortillas. There were a bit of flies buzzing, however, it's east county summer and we're all dealing with them, but getting those in check in an eatery would be better too.For $17/person, it's really a decent deal & bang for your buck. It's by no means luxurious or decadent food, nor would I expect it to be. However, it's definitely tastier than El Torito with a much cuter atmosphere & excellent service, and able to support small local business is always a priority for me.

Ambiance - walk in and greeted by staff, as though they were welcoming you into Tia's (aunt's) warm home. Make yourself comfortable, here's what we have to offer, don't hesitate to ask us anything type of affection. My husband and I can't stop talking about the feeling and this is the Family type of restaurants we need to keep around. Think of yourself coming into your favorite aunt's inviting kitchen. Please don't walk into the establishment expecting high end, scrape the crumbs off the table, type of service and attitude. The table settings and breakfast buffet do not match the aesthetics. It's truly a casual brunch spot serviced by a hardworking family. Thank you for being in our East County backyard!Service - Welcomed by every staff member including Chef Georgina. She even came by to chat and tellus how one post went viral and she and her staff were not expecting lines out of the door. Staff comes to check on your table, provides you with drinks, removes excess tableware to make room for more. Very friendly, and makes the atmosphere even more relaxing.Food- we came for their inexpensive Mexican breakfast buffet with little expectation. Some meaty items had a bit more flavor than expected but just imagine dropping into your family's home and they say "let me just whip something together" a little bit of this and that and we'll make the flavors work.

Horrible place, food is just okay, but service was horrible. The place couldn't keep up with the food (buffet) many trays were empty and the area where they had food was discussing. Someone left their dirty plates in the buffet area, no kidding they were there from the start and they were still there when we left. The trays of fruit salad were empty and unattended from start to finish. Server never came to take a drink order so we had to go to the bar and order, I saw another woman who did the same. When we were at the register a man went to the register to tell them there was no coffee or creamer.

Great value for weekend brunch served in a cozy environment with the most exuberant owner who tirelessly runs around making sure everything is just right. The buffet offers a few typical American breakfast items like pancakes and eggs, but is primarily Mexican cuisine-based and delicious. Unfortunately though, other than for fruit, there are no sweet/dessert offerings to finish an otherwise satisfying meal.

Jamul's best kept secret, Chandelier's Sunday brunch. I know what you're thinking "that place is never open", well, on Sundays they are and it is worth the price of admission (approximately $17per person). The food was legit - buffet style includes the basics such as rice, beans, enchiladas, but then steps up to their game with a few delicious guisados ( stews), Birria, machaca, and finishes it all off with menudo and two types of pozole. Include water and coffee and you'll walk out of there a happy customer. The service is way nice, the chef (Georgina) is super engaging and the place is tastefully decorated, one really feels the passion they put into the effort. A great way to spend a Sunday morning in Jamul!

The entire experience was gross. The buffet was cramped, filled with greasy low quality food, and frozen food (pancakes). They had plenty of open seating, but they sat us on a small bar height table where there was no light, and discarded restroom toilet seat protector holder right next to us. When I opened a buffet lid, two flies were sitting on the food underneath. We came all the way to Jamul because of the reviews in the past and amazing looking food on the photos. I'm guessing the place has new owners?

This AYCE Sunday brunch Mexican restaurant is new to the brunch scene. Take a drive to Jamul and have great food and wonderful service in an adorable setting. They had Jamaica, menudo, potatoes, chorizo con huevo, huevos en salsa verde, enchiladas, chilaquiles verdes y rojos, birria, pollo en mole, chorizo con huevo, papas, frijoles, arroz, huevos con machaca, pancakes, ham, omelettes made to order and more. The family that runs the restaurant is very nice and the service was impeccable. Everything I tried was great. Take a Sunday drive and enjoy.

This is this place on a Sunday for their brunch. 16.99 was not disappointed. Great choice of foods from eggs, rice and beans, beef, pork pancakes. And other menu items salad, fruit salad. For the buffet, the food was extremely tasty. Well seasoned compared to most other buffets. For $16.99. it's well worth it. My only complaint would be having some orange juice and milk available along with some small tortillas. Definitely worth the drive out to jamul

This restaurant has a little coffee shop inside. The coffee shop is open daily and is better than the nearest chain coffee shop. The pastries are baked fresh daily. And this is in a cute spot in Jamul where we don't have much. I highly recommend getting your coffee here and supporting a local small business.

Okay, so at first I was wary. It's in a little area of our city, in a strip mall. Then: never mind, y'all. Never mind! THIS PLACE ROCKS. The owner came out to graciously greet myself and my Partner-in-Crime, and she showed us a brunch buffet for the ages. Marco, our server, may have been the most pleasant person I've met in a long while, and he was super attentive. Also, we came in at weird time between shifts, and they had a huge event coming up. Our food still was easy and-- most of all-- delicious! Those albondigas blew my mind. And my mind is not easily blown. Also it's like, totally family-owned, and I support the hell out of this. They are putting on their best show on thee crappiest of days to try to do so, and I just need everyone who sees this that this place is legit. MarFar's honor. And no, they didn't pay me or some stupid shit like that. They really are just that good.
