I recently had the pleasure of dining at an elevated Thai restaurant that truly set the bar high. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance captivated us. As we sat down, the lights dimmed, adding to the atmosphere, and the presentation of the dishes was nothing short of remarkable.We started with the Golden Pouches--crispy chicken, shrimp, and shiitake mushroom dumplings. The appetizer was fantastic, and the accompanying sauce was delightful, perfectly complementing the flavors of the dumplings.My friend ordered the Chilean Seabass, which was served with crab fried rice, bok choy, crispy leeks, and a garlic-black pepper sauce. The dish was incredibly fresh and tasty, with all the elements coming together harmoniously.I opted for the Wagyu Beef Cheeks, which came with panang curry, green beans, and red bell peppers. The dish was phenomenal! The meat was tender and flavorful, and each ingredient added to the overall richness of the curry.For drinks, my friend had a Lychee Martini, which she described as outstanding. I tried the Mekhong Me Crazy, made with Mekhong whisky, Aperol, elderflower syrup, ginger, orange blossom, and egg white. This cocktail was incredible and has now become one of my favorites.Overall, the experience was exceptional. The freshness of the food was unmatched, and the restaurant truly knows how to deliver an elevated dining experience. If you're looking for a place that combines great food, fantastic drinks, and a wonderful ambiance, this Thai restaurant is a must-visit!

Randomly decided to stop here for a quick bite to eat (and a cocktail or two) and I'm glad I did! The ambiance pulled me in right away. Even though it was still light outside, I loved the dark and intimate mood. And I felt that from the bar, where I sat during my visit.The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations and attentive service. And the food and drinks were flavorful and a treat for the senses.

If you're looking for a solid dinner option this is a great place. They do have some kinks to work out in their process such as telling people to valet vs park in the garage. Overall, I see this as a great date night option. The food was amazing. We ordered the beef cheeks and the sea bass and I couldn't find a complaint about the food even if I really wanted to. The ambiance was fine, but with so much space, I couldn't understand why everyone was seated directly next to the party table when there were available tables away from the birthday party. Overall, I will come back again. And will remember to valet my car! I will also be clear about any seating preferences. The staff was very kind.

The service was a bit slow, the restaurant was not very busy, but the food came out after 45 minutes, our martinis and drinks came out after about 30 minutes. The staff were polite and the server was friendly, just wish we got our food sooner. The ambiance is nice, interior is very clean and pretty, and you can get parking validated. The food however was pretty good, the lobster soup was my favorite, and the laarb was good too. The papaya salad was kinda mid. I recommend the beef cheeks and the lobster soup!

Sigh. I was so excited to try this place. It just didn't live up to the expectation. To be fair, I started with the Phuket All cocktail, which was all the hype. It was phenominal. After that, we slowly went downhill food wise. Nothing was bad, just underwhelming. Steamed shrimp and chicken dumplings were good, not great, but good. Lobster coconut soup, same thing. We have had better and were expecting more from a recipe that won on Beat Bobby Flay. Main dishes were disappointing. My pad Thai I just didn't like and my boyfriend's sea bass dish was a little bland. Our waitress was super nice and attentive and even gave me a free slice of cake for my birthday, which I appreciated a lot. Overall, the experience and ambiance of the restaurant was nice, food was just a little lackluster for the buck.

Nice ambiance, with the flavors to match. So here are my honest ratings of the dishes that I enjoyed. Octopus salad 10/10, flavorful! Tom Kha Lobster Soup 6/10, soup tasted more like mushroom soup but lobster very tender.Chilean Sea Bass 10/10, perfectly cooked and sauce was lovely. Pad Thai 5/10, not great but not bad. noodles were not well separated or tender enough and too much egg. Lamb chops 9/10. great taste and sides to complement.

Had an overall outstanding first dinner at Chai Yo! Ambience, food, drinks and service all on point! Golden Pouches and octopus salad appetizers were excellent, as were the seabass with crab rice and drunken noodles mains! Coconut cake and mango sticky rice desserts were world-class! We will be back soon!

Ordered their takeout from here and the portion size was on the smaller end. Although the food was tasty and service was good, the amount was not enough for me personally.

Fantastic in every sense of the word. The food is amazing! The ambiance is chic yet unpretentious. The prices are decent for the portion sizes. The drinks taste wonderful. I enjoy the sea bass and crab fried rice when I'm here. I've always had fabulous service. The appetizers (larb, spring rolls, dumplings are very good). This has quickly become a restaurant on my fave list! Parking is valet and $2

Great ambiance for a relaxing dinner in a serene upscale restaurant. The food is flavorful and well prepared. The service is great, too. I've been here for a romantic dinner date and "let's catch up" dinner with a girlfriend and the ambiance was perfect for both. Great spot! Would highly recommend.
